At the end of the day Ben Sherman shirts are just another brand of cotton shirt with a fancy name attached to them I will be the first to say that they are well made and probably good value for money if you are if you are daft enough to spend £30 one. You can pick up shirts of equally good quality and style in Tesco and Matalan, the only difference being the price and the lack of a signature. Ben Sherman are an excellent all-round clothing company, that do both casual and formal wear. Famous for the roundel logo that they use, they are one of the most classic British clothing brands around today and their clothes wash and wear well on top of being very fashionable. In terms of formal wear, they are equally formidable doing an excellent range of smart shirts and suits, which equal hat by any exclusive suit company that I have came across anyway (I have two suits made by them). The name Ben Sherman for those who dont know has been around for many years.I seem to remember mods and skinheads wearing this brand in the mod revival in the early eighties. I bought a Ben Sherman watch a year ago as a present for my partner. I thought that it looked really classy and easy to read and the hands glowed in the dark-always a bonus!! So i thought it would be ideal and it was a reasonable price - £49.99. However, the inside face of the watch steams up with condensation every time it rains even though it is meant to be waterproof and able to survive being 4ft under water. We took the watch back and got a replacement and now the same thing happens with this one. Upon talking wth others who also have ben sherman watches apparently they have had similar experiences.
