I am totally a Cardigan person. I think cardigans look very stylish and chic. I trust Boyfriend Cardigans to cater to my exact needs. They make me look suave and trendy. Not only do they serve the purpose of keeping me warm but also enhance my sex appeal. I feel exceptionally confident in these cardigans. You can choose from various colours. Quite a few friends have expressed interest in my cardigan. They said they might want to borrow it sometime, flattering it is! However, they are very expensive. I had to set aside a huge sum of money to buy it. Now I need to work doubly hard to compensate for it. I guess some people also have issues with their fabric though I haven't had a problem with it.
Bought this item for work as i thought it would go with leggings/trousers for a smart casual workwear. Its a nice looking cardigan & i have never had a problem with anything from Matalan before, it was £14.00, but because i had a voucher got it for £10 .. soo really did think i was gettin a bargain. It comes in a few different colours & size's from 8 - 22, however the size's are a little weird as the arms on the 10 were to short but th cardy itself was a little baggy.. but because items usually shrink after a few wash's i got the 12, as i really was struggling for clothes for work. After wearing it on day one it was a nice design which did indeed go with anyhing, so at first i was quite pleased, but after washing it a few times (max 3/4) i started to notice it gettin really bobbly & wonky looking, also a twice the buttons have fell off and needed sewed back on... I was correct the item did start to shrink & arms ended up being to small again but seemed to just stay the same around the bum (baggy) I would not recommend this item as the quality is definatly poor & for the price paid you could get a decent one from newlook, asda etc. Thanks for reading :)
When I visited my mum over the summer, she took me to her local Matalan as it had been refurbished and I stocked up on some wardrobe essentials, one of which was the Boyfriend Cardigan. I paid £8 for this cardigan as it was on offer at the time however it is currently retailing at 14 quid. There are a few different colours available such as khaki, beige, black, grey, etc. I have the beige one which is a lovely shade but unfortunetly it will be going into the bin soon after just a month or so of owning it. Why? Because the quality is hideously bad. I've worn it a handful of times yet it has got holes in, is bobbled, the colour is fading and it's all crinkled up for some bizzare reason (it's been ironed several times and hung up in my wardrobe!) 2 buttons have also come off and it looks tatty and horrible. The cardi is your average boyfriend cardi - long sleeves, V neck and 5 plastic buttons down the front. It has 2 pockets on the front however these are not secure or deep enough to securely store anything of value in - my iPod has fallen out the one time I attempted to put it in the pocket. It is quite long, as are all boyfriend cardigans and comes just below my bum. It looked nice the first few times I wore it but got tacky and bobbly quickly which was a let down as for £14 I expected better. The material is 50% cotton, 25% viscose, 20% nylon and 5% angora. It was really soft and comfy at first but now it has a strange feel to it. It has also lost its shaping around the hem and waste area - it's all baggy and horrible and I have only washed it a handful of times! On a plus side it has not shrunk. The cardi is not worth £14 in my opinion - I have got much better quality cardigans from Primark that were £6. I would not reccomend this cardigan as it doesn't last well at all, however if you are interested in getting one then the sizes are 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22. I am a size 8 and found that the size 8 was tight on my arms but loose around my belly which isn't the most flattering fit lol. Overall, not one I would buy again nor reccomend.
