Butterfly Dropout is an American designer clothing line. It is based L.A and each item is individually hand made so no two will be exactly the same.

The clothing ranges from dresses to shirts to camisoles to thermals. The actual design of the clothing tends to be quite fairytale-esque littered with angels, unicorns, stars and hearts to name just a few. The detailed designs are created to resemble tattoos on your body so the placements are normally around the arms, nape of the neck etc where you would expect them to be. The actual clothing is designed to be very feminine and flatter a woman's body, with v neck wraparounds and empire lines. This clothing could well be described as being quite bohemian and perhaps hippy but don't let that put you off the clothing really is quite beautiful! The material can often be quite sheer with the designer as well however I would not say it makes it cheap but if you don't like the sight of any flesh perhaps this would not be for you!

Price wise well it isn't that cheap. A long sleeve top or camisole retails for around $100 however in sales such as the ones at revolveclothing.com the prices are often slashed by 50% which is when I buy them! There are also some good deals to be found on ebay.

The material content on these tends to be a mix of polyester and cotton so they are sometimes although thin not as breathable as 100% cotton- but they look fab!!!

Summary: Beautiful tops that are just a bit different to the norm!
