Okay, so maybe this makes me wierd, but I have been in search of the definitive pair of fishnets for quite a while...they have to be black, fairly small holes, and DEFINATELY not tights. Dunno if you've found yourself wearing many pairs of fishnets in your time, but I find that the tights variety can leave a lovely red "I've just been wearing fishnets" inprint on the top of your thighs and buttom if you've been sitting for a while. Frankly not very attractive.

So, you might well ask, where did you find these lucious fishnets? Well, before going any further, I should explain that they are not easy to find, and you do have to pay through the nose for them. The pair I bought are Wolford, and they're called Charisma, and set me back $36...I am unsure how much they are over here, but I would think that 25 pounds is a reasonable estimate. FOR A PAIR OF TIGHTS??? Oh yes, but not any pair of tights. These are fantastic, plus they have a seam up the back. Does it get any sexier? But be warned to avoid the sluttish look, wear only with a longish skirt and boots, long skirt with a split, or under trousers. Unless you are going for that sort of look.

Anyways, sadly for me, I wore said hold ups on one memorable evening, and horror of horror they split! Deflated and depressed, I emailed Wolford to tell them of my disappointment, and I have to say, they were fantastic. A lovely woman in Austria emailed me back immediately and offered me help, saying that if I was not near to a shop then I could send them to her. I did, and after examining my offending hold-ups - rather them than me - they sent me a new fantastic pair.

Only thing is, since the last pair split I haven't had an occasion to try out the new ones...oh well, here's hoping...
