I like to take a pair of zip off trousers with me on holiday then I have the option of wearing them as shorts or long leg trousers.
Now I am a lady so buy the women's zip of trousers. They do male sized ones too. Sized range from wms 10 to 18. They come in short or regular length long length too these trousers are available in dark navy, earl grey or pecan I bought the Pecan it's a sort of brown colour.

These Craghopper trousers are great. Made of hardwearing , lightweight, durable Solar Dry polyester, cotton fabric which has a water repellent Smart Dry finish.
This solar dry fabric does dry quickly that's important when holidaying don't want to wait ages for the rain wet fabric to dry.Even though the fabric is water repellent. They won't stay dry in the rain that we sometimes get caught in. These trousers have UV protection too.

The seat and knee of these trousers is reinforced. (Needs to be if I am sitting and kneeling on the rocks)]
These trousers fit well not too tight the waist is part elasticated with belt loops and webbing belt .
Lots of pockets ,eight pockets including a mobile phone holder, security pockets and a large cargo pocket
These trousers are easy care, machine washable and minimum iron.
These trousers are fairly easy to zip on and off converting to and from shorts . The short lengh is just above the knee.

They are very practicle, ideal for hiking and camping when you don't want to carry too much and have the option of wearing shorts or trousers.

I bought a pair of these trousers before going on holiday last year.
