A gorgeous ladies T-shirt from Cyberdog

Being of the slightly gothic persuasion I have a keen interest in alternative fashions. I tend to favour a sub-genre of goth style known commonly as 'cybergoth'. This takes it's roots from gothic fashions, but then modernises it to include futuristic designs and bright shiny colours. Basically it's a lot more fun! Cyberdog is a leading clothes designer in the cybergoth area and has been established for a long enough time to have a dedicated fan base, which includes me :) They are better known for their incredible club wear but there are also some more casual designs available. This Radioactive Flower T-shirt is available from the Cyberdog Earth Stations (otherwise known as retail stores on the high street!), or online at www.cyberdog.net. They cost RRP £24.00 and are currently on sale at just half the price so I snapped up this bargain top for £12.00.

Product description: "It may look like a flower from a distance, but don't get too close.. it's deadlier than you think!"

This T-shirt is part of the womens range of clothing, and although there are often crossovers with the same designs being printed on womens and menswear this top is available exclusively for the girls. It comes in Cyberdog's standard range of womens sizes which are generally on the small side. XS = 28" chest, S = 30" chest, M = 32" chest and L = 34" chest. I have this T-shirt in the black colourway, and you can also choose from pink or white. I'm quite tempted to buy another one in the pink colour as I really love this T-shirt! It is also available in a long sleeved cut with the same design and colours, and this costs RRP £25.00 and is also on half price sale costing just £12.50 now.

I rarely ever wear T-shirts but I loved the design of this pattern as it's clever and more detailed than it first appears. My T-shirt has a black background and an all-over print in a silver metallic foil effect. The pattern depicts flowers with weaving stems and leaves growing upwards over the fabric. These are simple line drawings but have a clean style that I really like. The flower heads are where the interesting part of the design shows through, as instead of petals the flower heads are made up of a stylised radiation symbol. There is also a large radiation symbol across the centre front of the chest which highlights the theme of the rest of the print.

This T-shirt is made from 95% cotton and 5% elastene. The cotton is very thick and heavy and does not stretch very much at all, even with the elastene content. The elastene seems to help give a more fitted feel and the T-shirt is nicely cut to show off the female figure and looks a lot more flattering that your basic T-shirts with no shape to them. The cotton feels nice against the skin and this top is very comfortable to wear.

Because this item of clothing has quite a casual feel to it I usually wear it during the day time or when I am out and about on informal occasions. It has an edgy feel to it because of the print but this isn't too extreme so it's easily wearable and goes with all sorts of outfits which makes it more versatile and better value for money than other Cyberdog pieces I own.

      Care instructions:
      + Wash inside out.
+ 40 degrees in the washing machine.
+ Do not tumble dry due to print.
It's always nice to be able to fling clothes in the washing machine without worrying too much about a special care routine, and I wash this using my normal 30 degree temperature setting. Because of the metallic foil finish to the pattern it is important to turn the T-shirt inside out and NEVER dry it in the tumble dryer. This will cause the silver effect to be stripped away as I have sadly experienced in a previous tumle dryer accident with another top. As an added bonus the T-shirt doesn't really require ironing as it hardly creases and as soon as you put it on it looks in a great fresh condition anyway.

This is a great casual item of clothing from Cyberdog that incorporates their unique cyber styling in a very wearable way. I would highly recommend this T-shirt and will probably buy it again in the longsleeve and/or different colour versions. Top marks all round for comfort, looks and aftercare.
