Damart Wolf Fleece
Advantages: Cosy, warm and easy care.
Disadvantages: Lots of loose threads and pockets too far back for comfort.
---Why I Bought This---
Like many people I often get these little catalogues through the post and see the Damart one page adverts in the Saturday newspaper supplements. I do not often order from then for a few reasons but was offered over £7 off an order so decided to check out their website.
Damart has been in existence since the 1950s and are well known for their thermal underwear range - though they have expanded their lines now to include clothing and other items - mostly for the more mature customer.
Wolf fleece available in four colours: grey, sage green, airforce blue and stone.
The fleece has a full front zip, elasticated cuffs and two side pockets.
Machine washable (at 30 degrees) and made from 100% polyester fleece.

Was £25 but now 12.50.
Postage costs £2.95 and they aim to deliver within 7 days.
The charge is the same no matter what size the order.
Damart have a 'No Time Limit' guarantee on all their items which can be returned for a replacement.
However any returns have to be paid for by you.
Well I very seldom ever order form Damart for a few reasons. Firstly I prefer to order where I can have free delivery and returns and I also find the products aimed more for the older market.
However I have on occasions bought the odd fleece if they have been on offer as they are good to wear over jumpers around the house in the winter.
I received an incentive from Damart a while ago of a reduction of over £7 for any order, so when I checked their website and saw that this fleece was also showing as 50% off I thought it would be worth ordering, even with the postage added.
The delivery was within a few days but the first thing that disappointed me when I opened the packet was that there wee so many loose ends of thread that needed snipping off - definitely giving a very bad first impression.
I ordered the size 14/16 as I usually use a size 14 and I like fleeces a little large to go over jumpers.
I also ordered the grey as I have lots of stone fleeces but when I saw how dark it was around the shoulders I was sorry I had not ordered the sage green. However as this was only costing me around £8 I decided to keep it as by the time I paid the £2.95 postage delivery plus paid to send it back I might as wel just keep it (this is why I prefer to buy with K&Co who have free delivery and returns).
The fleece is unlined and is a mixture of black, white and grey print. It has a wolf's head on the front one side and three on the back with a muted landscape and a moon. The collar shoulders and top area of the print are very dark.
The fleece is lightweight, soft and cosy. I have not washed it yet but my other fleeces have been washed countless times and come out really well.
The fleece has two pockets, which are great to keep your hands warm - BUT- they are set right back in the side seams so are not in the proper place for comfort - probably put there more for convenience than anything I suppose and also so as not to interfere with the pattern
4 stars - not very well finished off with loose threads etc. and the pockets are set too far back in the side seams.
---Would I Recommend?---
Yes so long as not at full price.
