I bought these jeans from Dorothy Perkins. They cost me £15, which I thought was a bargain. They were also available as part of a 2 for £25 offer. They are currently selling from Dorothy Perkins for £12.
When I first wore the jeans, I thought that they looked great - the colour was bright and they looks smart, combined with a black halter neck top and black boots. I felt really confident when wearing them too, because I thought that they looked good.
When I washed these trousers for the first time a load of dye came off, and so after one wash the jeans had faded greatly in colour which was a shame. I had suspected this may happen as I had bought some jeans like these from Dorothy Perkins a couple of years ago and they faded greatly too - I bought them as part of a offer, and so this time I avoided the offer (2 for £25) as I was afraid that that was the reason why they were on offer.
They are very comfortable to wear. I do find that with jeans, they sometimes 'dig in' around my belly. However, these jeans are fine and fit perfectly.
The jeans aren't very long, however, they do go well with boots and flat shoes. Because I have short legs, I sometimes find that I 'walk on' the bottoms of my trousers, however, I don't get that with these which for me is a first.
I think that every wardrobe needs a black pair of jea
ns. They are so useful; by this I mean that this will go with anything; any colour, any pattern. I also think that they can be worn for most events; even work, as they are quite smart to look at. I have worn them to work in an office, to go partying and to go shopping.
Despite the fading, I would definitely recommend these jeans!
