Advantages: Probably well made, Likely to be the only person in the area wearing their stuff

Disadvantages: Very pricey, Not terribly exciting

The first thing that strikes you about Evisu clothing is the price. £100+ for a pair of jeans, £50 for a t-shirt, etc? Now I personally wouldn't mind saving my pennies for a bit if I felt that the clothes were worth buying, but I don't really think they are. The jeans are very basically styled, with that fancy little bit of rubber or stitching on the back pockets, and the t-shirts and other bits and bobs merely functional.
Perhaps I'm missing the point a little here - it could well be that the clothes are supposed to be understated. However I really feel that with Evisu the money is going on the label and little else. I would hope that the clothing is well made (although having not bought any I can't comment either way), but I just couldn't work up the enthusiasm to spend so much on such unexciting stuff.
Let's put it another way - I went into London a couple of months ago with £150 in my pocket to buy a pair of jeans. I looked at the Evisu range and was pretty underwhelmed, so tried the Covent Garden Diesel store where I found a great pair of hand-damaged and stained Kratt jeans for £110. On one hand you have the very uninspired Evisu and on the other the exciting Diesel Kratts. I wonder which I bought?
