      F&F bikini briefs

When the sun starts to come out I usually turn my attention to my underwear draw and give that a good spring clean too and then go out and stock up on new knickers for the coming year. This time in particular when I was at the shops I wanted some white and natural coloured pairs as I have quite a few sundresses that are white or cream and needed this underwear to blend in and not show up underneath like patterned underwear would.

I am one of those women who is not really worried about her underwear. I know my husband would love me to wear little lacy, racy thong things, and I do when we have a special night, but they are just so uncomfortable and impractical for everyday wear so I'm afraid to say I am a fan of nice plain little cotton briefs that are comfortable, stretchy and practical!

Tesco's Florence and Fred range is perfect for cheap, good quality underwear and its here I found exactly what I was looking for. Over the years I have found that the bikini underwear bottom suits my body shape best and is the style I find most comfortable so I usually go with them when I need to buy some new pairs. Bikini style bottoms are briefs that have a high cut leg and so they do not rub or cut into your thighs like longer underwear does.

There were lots of different styles to choose from but I decided upon a pack of 4 pairs of underwear for the ridiculously low price of just £3.50. At that price even if I just wear them for the next couple of months and then have to throw them away after summer I do not mind. Plus, I find that white underwear often turns grey pretty quickly and doesn't look the nicest after a while so its better to buy cheaper in my opinion. The underwear is 100% cotton so its lovely and comfortable and stretches with me. They have an elasticated waist which is fairly low rise but they stay up really nicely and I do not have to keep on pulling at them like I do with other pairs of underwear. As a little design feature there is a small bow at the front which is cute.

These pants wash really well on a regular 30 degrees wash and have been a perfect investment.

Nice, true to size and well made bikini briefs

Mooching through Tesco with nothing in mind to buy but money burning a hole in my pocket as per usual I found myself looking through the clothes section. With again nothing catching my eye I spotted some bikini briefs I rather liked the look and knowing that I had a black plain bra sitting at home in a drawer and with nothing to match them decided that for £5.00 they had to be worth a go as they felt really nice material and looked well made and of good quality.

In sizes 8-18 instore I spotted these in a variety of colours including white, fuchsia pink and a dark blue and they are also available to purchase online at Tescodirect.com.

Made from 80% nylon 20% and elastane they are fully machine washable and are suitable for tumble drying.

Basically these are very plain to look at, slightly giving bikini briefs that are double stitched in most places with wide legholes and a flattering high leg cut. The back covers the bottom area very well, they have a smooth feel and appearance and I do like the fact they are slightly giving on the waist they do not go baggy over time.

I wash and wear these often and have not found any discoloration and in fact they look as good as new as well as not shrinking or anything else. For a fiver a pair if you want comfy pants these are great and true to size and you can even forget your wearing them!

Only available from Tesco and from Tescodirect.com
