      Lovely dress

Once upon a time I always dreamed of owning alot of feminine clothes and being slim and wearing lots of dresses. For me, I was very big at one time and dresses really didn't suit me at all no matter how many I tried on I simply hated myself in them. Thats not to say larger ladies can't wear dresses of course I just always felt better in trousers and tops but then when I lost all my weight and went to a size 10 (although through illness sadly) I did eventually get what I had always wanted and that was a wardrobe full of dresses and seriously I own simply loads of them nowadays!

This one I spotted recently in my local Tesco store. I was only instore to grab some food and much needed knickers and not in the market for anything else to wear however this pretty and simple dress really did catch my eye and when I tried it on at only £16.00 I simply had to buy it or it would keep me awake at night thinking about the dress I passed by!

Made from 100% viscose this lightweight but not see through dress comes in sizes 8-20 however looking on the Tescodirect website (wwwwtescodirect.com) this is only available on there to buy at the moment in a size 8 however my size 10 I bought in store and actually saw them still on sale in a variety of sizes just yesterday.

      The Dress:

In colour it is a mixture of dark and light blue and cream and actually when you see the dress 'in the flesh' so to speak it really doesn't look as 'busy' as it is depicted on the website (or I wouldn't own it!). With a floral pattern made up from light blue and cream on a royal blue background this is a very conservative looking pull on and off dress with no zips or buttons or anything like that to it at all. With a rounded neck to the top of the dress, what is called flutter sleeves on the website that go to the elbows (though I think of them as simply batwinged falling short) and having a slightly elasticated waist that nips in and has a small and thin material tie that is long and does up round the back of the dress the only thing that is marginally revealing about it is the length and of course that soley depends on how tall/short you are. Me, well I'm 5.8 ish and this does come short and above the knee on me but not too much so.

For daytime this cool, lightweight dress looks great worn with leggings and at night with a pair of simple heels so you really can dress it up and/or down and although slightly old fashioned in appearance this is actually bang on trend right now and would suit most ages and shapes and sizes.

This is fully machine washable and tumble dry safe however it does dry quickly as it is made from thin viscose, is very comfortable on and made to a great standard and for that reason this versatile little tea dress gets almost top marks from me!

Only available from Tesco and in one colour option as far as i am aware of.
