      Comfort over style

These briefs aren't the most exciting purchases I've ever made, but when I bought them to accommodate my growing pregnancy bump to make life a little comfier, it sure did seem pretty exciting at the time! I was finding my normal underwear to be a bit tight, and was starting to dig into my bump making me feel uncomfortable as if my circulation was being cut off. Whilst browsing in Tesco, I decided on these full briefs, thinking that being "full" would mean big, and they would have more chance of covering my bump, and also I didn't want to spend a lot as I was getting them in a bigger size to my usual size.

The briefs are nothing to write home about appearance wise, although Tesco have tried to jazz them up by offering them in either black, white or a variety of patterns. They have a cute little bow at the top, and the edges have a bit of scalloped detail which makes them look and feel a little more feminine. I bought three packs of these, one in black, one in white, and the black and white patterned ones (which are called monochrome on the website). They are made from soft pure cotton and cost £3.50 for a pack of 4.

In use, the briefs are definitely comfortable, and as they practically cover my bump I can only imagine that on a non-pregnant woman they would rise quite high! Although this isn't the most flattering of underwear, I guess it has the advantage that it covers any muffin top issues you may be concerned about, and personally I'm a believer that skimpy underwear is NOT flattering on everyone, but instead people should dress to suit their size and shape. These aren't the kind of knickers you'll be wearing to try to seduce someone, but they're very comfortable for those lazy days, or *that* time of the month when comfort is priority.

These briefs have washed well, without fraying or showing signs of becoming misshapen. I wasn't sure with the black and white ones whether they would be ok washed with other darks, or if they might run, but they have been absolutely fine being washed in my normal darks cycle. Although they are definitely a case of function over style, I would recommend these to anyone looking for some sin-covering big pants.

      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      Wouldn't re-purchase unfortunately.

Earlier in the year I got some clubcard vouchers from Tesco and I decided to double them up and buy some new clothes.

I ended up spending £10 of the vouchers on knickers and I really stocked up as I always manage to either shrink knickers in the washing machine or they go missing, no idea how but they do! I bought lots of different types and colours and two of the packs that I bought were these basic knickers which are full briefs. I bought these mainly for comfort, I do usually opt for thongs and sexier underwear but these are great for when I'm 'on' and need to use a pad, or simply when I'm exercising and want to be comfy. I also always wear these kind of knickers when I'm wearing leggings because I always get paranoid that they are a bit see-through at the back so wouldn't dare wear a thong!

At £3.50 per pack of four these seemed like good value. These knickers are available in three different colours - white, beige or black. Some packs come with all four knickers in one colour and there are also packs with multiple colours, I bought two packs of white ones. The colour choice is very limited and basic, however as these are what I would personally call granny knickers, they're not really designed to be sexy or 'special' so the lack of colour or design doesn't really bother me because I wear them to be comfortable rather than to feel sexy.

The pants each have a small bow on the front which is a nice little touch but not that noticeable and it doesn't really spruce them up or anything, they look very boring and basic. The pants come in easy to open packaging which is very simple and the knickers are available in sizes 8 to 18. I'm a size 14 so I bought the size 14 and these were a good fit at first, but after a few weeks the elastic has gone in the waistband and they're not as well fitting.

They are still wearable but they don't fit as nicely as they did at first and I find my self having to pull them up if I'm walking as they ride down, which is a bit embarrassing. The knickers are quite high waisted which I like as they cover my muffin top and tuck me in a little, making my belly look a little neater, well they did at first when the fitted nicely anyway but now they don't make much difference.

The knickers are 100% cotton and the material is quite thin, they're soft but don't feel that great quality wise but they're comfortable. Although these knickers are cheap & comfortable, I wouldn't re-purchase them because of the quality. After around a month of having them, most of the pairs out of the eight pairs that I have are not looking great - baggy and tatty.

      Summary:

      ~ Advantages ~
      *Cheap
      *Comfortable

      ~ Disadvantages ~
      *Dont wash well
      *Look tatty
      *Not very nice looking

All in all I give these knickers two out of five stars.

      Love them

I was so pleased to discover that Dooyoo already have listed these F&F full briefs as I initially thought I'd have to suggest this product. Anyone who reads my reviews regularly will know that I am a huge Tesco fan and one of the thing s I buy on a regular basis is their clothes from F&F which are always brilliant value for money and great quality to boot.

Now... whilst I never thought I'd be writing a review about my knickers, I strongly suggest you read on if you are looking for some good quality 'fuller' ladies pants. In times gone by I would never have considered buying a 'full' brief as I used to think they looked slightly old ladyish and not very sexy. Oh how times have changed. As I reached my thirties I quickly came to the conclusion that fuller pants generally speaking, equals more comfortable pants. Whilst thongs and skinny skimpy lacey knickers have their place and I still own some and wear them very occasionally, I really do prefer to put comfort before looking glam, especially when it comes to the knickers department.

I have bought F&F pants lots of time - not only for me but for my husband too. In fact, Tesco clothes (F&F) is usually where I chose to buy the majority of our underwear and I even prefer it to M&S. Shocking, I know.

I have two packs of these kickers (both in black, as I prefer black to white) and they come in a four pack and cost £2.50. There are only two colour options (black and white) but to be honest, I grew out of pretty coloured bright knickers when I was in secondary school and now I prefer to wear black most days.

These knickers are PERECT when it comes to comfort. I have bought the four pack of knickers from Asda which are meant to be the same, and are slightly cheaper, but they just don't compare in any way to the ones from F&F. There are a full brief, and by that I mean that they cover my entire bottom. This is no mean feat, either, I can tell you. They come in a huge choice of sizes (8-22) and whilst I am not about to divulge to Dooyooer's my knicker size, lets just say that these fit the bill - perfectly.

They have a great comfortable elasticated waist and comfortable leg holes which are both trimmed off nicely with the tiniest amount slightly thicker lining. They are wide at the sides and whilst they don't reach up to my belly button, they are large enough to tuck a vest into, as my mum used to say!

They wash well, don't fade too badly and what's more, they don't lose their shape or the elastication around the waist or leg holes. The ones I bought previous to these from Asda were terrible. After just a few washes the thread around the leg holes gradually started to unravel until eventually I gave up snipping bits off with scissors, and use them as old cleaning cloths for cleaning the outside conservatory windows !

What more could I possibly say about these knickers? They are not the most sexiest underwear on the planet but they are perfect for me, and that's what matters most. They are practical, wash well, great quality, fab price and I really highly recommend them.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

        A good buy!

When I came to stop with my mum and my stepdad I thought the one thing I have packed oodles of was undies! Sadly when I opened up my case I realised that my overall packing wasn't all that great and was actually a miss mash of stuff thrown into a suitcase quickly which meant I needed to buy a few more pairs of pants very badly indeed!

Now the sort of pants I wanted were full ones, just for every day use really and comfy cos I go to the gym daily and there is not a lot more worse in life than being on say a cross trainer and a thong cheese grating your bottom so when I spotted these in a pack of 4 for only £2.50 I bought two packs of them costing me a fiver for a whopping 8 pairs and was pretty pleased with my buy!

These come in 4 packs of black or white full pants and both times I went for the black option and they come in sizes 8-22 and in my experience these come up in a large size, I bought my usual size in things and these are a bit large on me!

They came in a hanging see through pack and on them I was told what they were and who they were by and the size I opted for was shown as was the price and contact details on the back were given for the manufacturer.

        The Pants:

Well these knickers/pants are 100% cotton and 100% black in colour. They are a full brief with a gently elasticated waist to them that is trimmed as are the leg holes and their is a matching black piece of material in the pants that acts as a gusset and each pair are finished off with a small black and attached bow to the top centre of them. They are very plain to look and like I said I only bought these to wear as every day sort of briefs!

These cover my bum really well and come to my belly button and are lightweight, smooth and soft and the quality is great. You can wash, tumble dry them and even iron them if you want to and I've experienced a bit of initial colour fade but still they do not appear unsightly and they haven't bobbled or shrunk or anything adverse like that!

All in all I think these are very worth the money even though the colour has faded slightly and they are a lighter black than when I bought them and for me and the gym they are great and really comfy with no roll down or too much vpl!

        Only available from Tesco stores.
