A good basic versatile camisole top

I love vest tops and wear them all year round, either on their own in warmer weather or under a jumper in the winter, I also always sleep in a vest top with different bottoms, either short or long. I've been buying several vest tops or camisole tops as they are sometimes called, from Tesco, they are actually sold in the pyjama section but in my opinion they are really versatile. On my latest trip I bought 2 more, a blue one and a white one.

The F&F Camisole Tops are made from 95% cotton and 5% elastane making them quite stretchy, they are just a plain coloured basic vest style with thin straps, the neckline is quite low and scooped at the front, it does show a tiny but of cleavage but not a lot, the back is straight and sits just above my bra strap. The camisole top comes to just below the hips which in my opinion is an ideal length.

The washing instructions advise using a 30oC cycle unless the top is really dirty, I always do mine on a 30 or 40oC wash and have never had any problems with shrinking or stretching. The instructions also advise ironing on the reverse side of the material, I have found these tops don't always need ironing it depends how they've been dried. If I can get them dry outside on the line often they don't need to be ironed which is always a plus as far as I'm concerned.

I bought some of these camisole tops back in April too and have had so much use from them. I keep some to use as pyjamas and others I use for general day to day wear. I team the camisoles up with jeans, shorts and mini skirts and they just seem to go with everything. They look nice with a large chunky necklace or a scarf, I also wear them under baggy jumpers that hang off one shoulder, especially crocheted ones where the camisole shows through.

If you wear this sort of thing then I can certainly recommend F&F camisole Top, at a measly £2.50 they certainly wont break the bank, they have new colours in all the while and they are so versatile, they look good when worn alone or layered up with other things. I have worn and washed mine many times and they have maintained their shape and the material hasn't rubbed up at all. I bought mine in a size 12/14 which fits perfectly, I'm usually a 12 but Tesco don't this in single sizes and I thought 8/10 would be too small.
A definite 5 stars from me.
