      Disadvantages

      Dissapointing.

I recently placed a large order with Tesco clothing and this top was one of the things that I bought.

I thought that it would be ideal to just throw on with leggings/joggers for when I am lounging around or doing house work. It's definitely not a top that I would wear in public unless it was just walking the dogs as it is very casual and quite slobby looking in my opinion! The main thing that I liked about it when I was thinking about buying it was the zip detail as I thought this would make it look a little more dressed up but to be blunt it just looks tacky.

The design of the top is pretty basic. It has 3/4 length sleeves with turned up cuff detailing and a wide scooped neck. The neckline is really odd in my opinion - it kind of drapes, creating a really unflattering look which makes my boobs look saggy and it exposes too much cleavage in my opinion which is not ideal seeing as this is a casual top that I wear for comfort, not to look sexy. The zip detailing is cheap and plasticy feeling and it looks stuck on. The texture of the top is nice and soft though but very thin so on cold days it does need layering with a tee shirt, vest or cardigan.

The top is available in two colours - nude and blue. I have it in blue and it's an okay colour. The flecked neppy detailing is a nice touch and it makes it look a little more expensive than it is. The top is very lightweight and the material is 75% cotton and 25% polyester. Seeing as it is such a high percentage of cotton I was dissapointed by how thin the material is and the polyester gives it quite a stretchy and loose feel which I am not very keen on. The top is quite hard to style seeing as it's quite short so it doesn't look right with leggings unless I style a long vest underneath. It comes down to the waistband of my jeans but because it is a loose fit it can look cropped if I lift my arms up.

Sizes available are 6-20. I got my usual size eight and am dissapointed with the fit. It is a weird cross between a normal jumper and a boxy jumper and it really is unflattering in my opinion. I've only had this jumper for around 3 weeks and I've washed it twice and it already looks quite worn and the texture is bobbling very slightly which is a real let down and I am considering complaining as even Primark do better quality tops for less than half the price! At £10.00 it's not like this is dirt cheap so why the quality and design is so bad is beyond me!

Not recommended, 1 out of 5 stars.
