About Fat Face Fat Face was started, by two self-confessed “Ski-bums” called Jules and Tim, in 1987/88. They began selling t-shirts and sweatshirts, with back and chest prints, to other ski-bums in bars across the French Alps. They opened their first shop, in Fulham, in 1993 and today have over 40 stores across the country, from Abersoch to Padstow, as well as three in the French Alps (Courcheval, Meribel and Val D’Isere) selling casual clothing with a decidely “outdoors” feel to it. The clothes are generally cheaper than other surf/ski makes - prices are more similar to GAP's, ...

Ummm...I have one of these clothes stores whre I live and have only been in there once or twice. When I went in the people in there were the kind of people who invade your space. Like in many other similar surfy shops I was greeted by two people asking franticly if I needed help or advice. I understand that they are only trying to help but too much can get on my nerves! I also realise that saying that ALL the shops are like that would be unfair and not true, it might just be this perticular branch. I tried some clothes on which looked really good on the dummies but just wern't right on me. I think they are going for the surfer look which is obviously very ...
