'Ski bums' and fat faces! (Fat face)

Want the chilled out, surfer chick/surfer dude look?? If you do, check out fat face. Fat Face was originally set up by two 'ski bums' who sold customised logo t-shirts at a ski resort in the French alps in order to make a bit of extra cash.
Now they have chain stores all across the country, selling a range of fantastic clothes. These clothes are hardwearing - designed for the outdoor lifestyle. They are bright, simple, very casual and perfect for holidays and travelling. As well as Men and Women clothes they have a good range for kids: Brat Face!!

The clothes are generally cheaper than other surf/ski makes - prices are more similar to GAP's, and in their sales they usually get slashed down to half price or lower. They also sometimes offer 3 for 2 deals on their clothes, which makes it great value. The actual stores have an outdoor feel, often with fake stone or wood walls. i've found the assistants to be helpful, although if you want to be left in peace the attention they give to each customer can feel a little opressive.

It s worth a visit to www.fatface.com. There are two sections of the site: Fat store and fat planet. The fat store has details of all the current clothes, and prices and it is possible to shop online quickly and easily. If you head to the Fat planet section there is a recruitment section, and a store locator - they are expanding rapidly, and stores are popping up all over the place.

The Fat planet section is also filled with pictures of stunning waves and inspirational quotes like : 'No one ever said on their deathbed, 'I wish I had spent more time in the office''..... hey, can't argue with that!! They also offer funding for people who 'live the lifestyle' - called team riders. If you are heavily into watersports or skiing, you should check it out and think about applying. So Fat Face is a little more than just another brand of outdoor gear....
A little grumble.... I send out for the catalogue by ordering it on the website and I never recieved it. But, not too bothered - I think it's always better to see clothes in the flesh. you should definately check these ones out.
