I absolutely love the leather trousers and leggings and have sooo many pairs yet it doesn''''t stop me buying another pair when I see them. Seen as the product is aimed to look ''''skinny'''' the trousers looked tight and so I did decide to try them on instead of just purchasing like I normally would. I tried the 8 which were slightly baggy in some areas and so I also tried the 6, which I could get on but felt uncomfortable. I decided to go for the 8 because previously when I have gone for the smaller sizes, once you start wearing them they begin to stretch very gradually and when you look really closely at the material you can see that it almost begins to peel. The trousers are comfortable and look nice, often going with most outfits which is always a bonus. After student discount the product was still almost £30 which is a lot to pay for something I seem to have so many off, however they did seem to be good quality and I like Topshop clothes because it''''s rare I have any problems with what I have purchased from them. So far these trousers are holding out well and I love wearing them. They were worth the money however I have got pairs very similar that we''''re half the price so I can''''t say I''''d buy them again.
I have been stocking up on wardrobe essentials lately and although I am not a huge fan of the leather look trousers/leggings, I did pick these up while in Topshop for some bizzare reason, and i've actually grown to love them. These are not the cheapest pair of trousers and are priced at £32 a pair which is a shame as I would love to have each colour (black and brown) but unfortunetly i'm too skint lol. The trousers are meant to be skin tight hence the 'Skinny' in the product title and they fit just like super tight skinny jeans. Unfortunetly though you can't tell that they are trousers and they look pretty much identical to the leather look leggings which are a tenner or so cheaper. The only thing in my opinion that makes them look like trousers is the high waist and the side stitch detailing but this isn't really noticeable unless worn with a crop top or with a top tucked in which is not really practical due to the weather getting colder so I would definetly say these are more for summer.
The trousers as I said are skin tight and at first I was quite self concious as they were so clingy and have very little stretch to them. They are also quite hard to get on as they have a small zip at the back and the waist obviously isn't very stretchy so it was hard doing it up despite getting my usual size 8. I would reccomend getting your true size though and not a size bigger or the trousers will look silly - they are meant to be tight. Because they feel like leggings I wanted to wear a long top but then I decided to be brave and wear a slightly cropped top and some heels and the trousers looked really good. I have them in the same shade as they are in Dooyoo's picture which is a burgundy red type of shade but it's not bright red and has a browny sort of tint to it. These are really flattering and they flatten out lumps and bumps due to how tight they are. They do look like real leather and have a nice metallic tint to them which I love. Because of how tight they are it was quite hard to walk elegantly but after a few times of wearing them they got used to my body shape if that makes sense which made them more comfy although still very, very figure hugging.
Material wise these are not real leather and are made of 100% polyurethane. The material feels just like a smooth leather and it can be wiped clean - as far as I am aware these trousers are not machine washable. Sizes available are 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16. Overall these are a fashionable pair of trousers but they are by no means cheap or comfy.
