Advantages: Cheap, versatile

Elbow patches are really in fashion this season and due to how fashion concious I am I set out in search for a nice jumper that had the elbow patch detailing. Alot of these type of jumpers are very expensive, and the New Look version was the only (reasonably) cheap but decent one I could find. As far as I know Primark don't have these in stock yet, but I can't imagine that they'd be much cheaper than the New Look one as Primark have ridiculously increased their prices. I paid £20 for this and bought it in my local New Look store however it is also available on the New Look website. I don't think £20 is a bad price as it's nice and warm so it'll be a nice jumper for in the winter and it looks good too.
The design is pretty simple, it's a long sleeved jumper with a slight scooped neck and elbow pads. The elbow pads are brown in colour and resemble leather, it does definetly look alot more expensive than it actually is. The jumper is a nice creamy colour and it has speckles all over it adding a nice unusual, indie look which I love. The neckline and hem have ribbed detailing which I also really like. The jumper is quite long on me (comes mid-thigh), i'm only 5'3 and I didn't realise that the girl modelling it on the New Look website was 5'8 so I was a bit dissapointed as I expected it to be very slightly cropped, however this is my own fault for not reading the product description properly. The product description on the New Look site does sum this jumper up well - "Embrace all things English heritage with this stone flecked jumper. It features brown suede style elbow patches with button shoulders and eibbed waistband, neck and cuffs. Wear with skinny jeans and brogues to compliment the simplicity of this classic style."
The jumper is soft and smooth with a very lightweight feel to it, it's 98 percent cotton and 2 percent vicose. Although it's lightweight it does keep me warm as long as I layer it with a vest underneath. The jumper's well fitting and quite clingy, which I personally like, but if you want it oversized i'd reccomend getting around 2 sizes bigger than your usual size. Sizes available: 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18. The jumper is nice and versatile and can be matched with pretty much anything.. jeans, shorts, leggings, probably not skirts though as that'd look slightly weird due to the length of the jumper unless you're tall. Washing the jumper is easy as it is machine washable, New Look reccomend to wash at 30 degrees but I wash mine at around 40 and it's absolutely fine, no shrinking or bobbling at all.
Overall, an affordable and fashionable jumper which is of good quality. Reccomended
Summary: Gorgeous jumper
