“ Brand: Full Circle / Type: Stripe Maxi Dress / Casual clothing „
Recently I decided to throw out so much clothing to make some much needed room in my bedroom. My bedroom is packed with clothes, shoes and bags everywhere and the idea was to not only give myself room to breath in and make life easier for when I wanted to get dressed but to make a bit of room to update my look too and buy a few more bits and pieces!
I love dresses, for the daytime I like maxi ones so when I spotted this 'Full Circle' one in my Freemans catalogue (also available from wwwfreemans.com) costing £60.00 I really fancied it as I hadn't seen anything else like it and I felt that this was a very versatile dress and one I could dress 'down' for a smart daytime look but glam up for evenings out if I wanted to as well!
The Dress Itself:
Well this dress is a rather long length. I'm 5.9 and this skims my ankles. It's also pretty slim fitting and made from jersey so although it has a bit of give in it and is smooth and soft to wear it is rather unforgiving on any area you want to try conceal..... if not virtually impossible!
Mainly a grey marl in colour this has lots of dark, thick black stripes all over it and little capped sleeves. The neckline is high and the stripes to the front of the dress are mainly vertical with them stripes being slightly angled to the front of the skirt giving a contrasting look. The back of the dress is again of course stripes, the skirt still having those angled stripes which started at the front of the skirt section on the dress and then the sleeves vertical giving a contrast once again.
This comes in sizes xs, s, m, l, xl with the size xs being a size 6 and a small being an 8 and so on so this dress only goes up to a size 14 and I have the size 10 and think this is pretty true to size.
It is fully machine washable and suitable for tumble drying on a low heat and so easy to care for with no issues at all. Its really comfortable and soft on though I do advise as least underwear as possible ladies or at the very least seam free or your gonna see it but hey least you can't see through it!
This is a very nice dress, dressed up or down and in my opinion it is so wonderfully made and easy to look after that it really is worth its 60 quid price tag!
Available from freemans and google the brand if interested.
