As i sit here in my GAP T shirt, GAP joggers, GAP hooded jacket, I don't like to seriously ponder a life without GAP.. Call me shallow, accuse me of succumbing to the evil empire, I won't care :-) I've found a label i love and I'm sticking with it! I love clothes that are comfortable, that look good and which are great quality as well as being washable. It's not often you find all 3 of those with an affordable price tag. Affordable?! I hear you gasp.... let me introduce you to the sale rail. My entire GAP outfit cost me about £30. I have other outfits which have cost me the same or less, and that's including the perfume!! My favourite ... Read the complete review

This store has become my new best friend, and for several reasons. First is the simple classic style they have, very basic, you can dress up or down the vast majority of what they have, its more casual then very smart but many things say for example the trousers or shirts, can be combined with other items bought elsewhere, to give a smart appearance. Its the sort of store that caters for most people in some way. The second is the (RED) collection, its designed for Gap exclusively and every time you purchase something from that range, money gets donated to a charity to help and support those who have Aids in poorer countries like Africa. Its a cheap ... Read the complete review

GAP first started their fashion is America but it is now a worldwide known company. I had heard of GAP but never really shopped there, my friend then told me how she got lots of things there but that still didn't persuade me. I then saw a big branch at Christmas and took all my money in with me it was sale time. I was with my granny and found a top that was pink with GAP on it and, a hand knitted jumper good quality too and not bad for £30 it had been reduced by £20 which is what I call a sale. I went into the changing rooms and tried everything on. The staff were helpful they walk about with walkie talkies to contact each other and in the ... Read the complete review

I have shopped at the Gap for over 10 years, and I love it. My first encounter with Gap was in the US, where I lived for a while. I remember this was the mid-80's and it was THE super-trendy shop in all the malls and I actually didn't like it. I'd never actually BEEN in one but I just didn't like it for no reason. Fast forward to the early 90's and again I am going into the Gap in the US, this time with a friend and I actually found that I did like their clothes and even bought a pair of jeans and some tops and such. That was also the first and only time I bought something from the Gap at full price. I then became a big fan ... Read the complete review

Gap. For many people this name conjures up excellently choreographed adverts. We used to love these when we were at school. In fact mornings in the common room would often start off with “Did you see the new Gap ad last night?”. My dancing teacher loved them and many of our jazz numbers had an obvious Gap influence. My first contact with the shop itself was when in Leicester - at this point there weren’t any northern branches near me. After visiting my sister at uni we went shopping and came across a little branch, in the Shires I think. Since these were the days when the height of fashion was being seen with a Gap bag, I had to buy something. ... Read the complete review
