Advantages: style at reasonable price
Disadvantages: not very many outlets
I've known about Gap for some time know, (well its hard to miss it with all the advertising,) and really like the design of clothes that they produce. Strangely though they do so much advertising, which would lead you to think they're not doing well but whenever I go into one of their outlets its packed. Gap produce a wide variety of clothes that suit both men, women and children. This is certainly one advantage they have over normal designer shops. Because, usually the childrens range of clothes is pathetic and expensive. Moving away from all this my opinion is on two things; coats and sweatshirts: - There are a wide range of coats all in different styles and colours but the one I recommend to you is the basic (or in this case not so basic) winter coat. It is made from a water-proof material on the outside making it perfect for British weather! It claims to be the thickest coat at time of manufacture and I haven't seen anything thicker ever and if both my other coats were put together they'd struggle to meet the thickness. Naturally with thickness comes warmth, which is ideal for winter in most European countries (bar Spain ... etc.) It boasts two hidden compartments in the inside of the coat, and two huge pockets on the outside with buttons to close them. One of my favourite features has got to be the hood. Nowadays not many people consider it 'cool' to be seen with a coat with a great big floppy hood dangling about on your back. But this Gap coat hides the hood within a pouch at the point of the neck at the back, so in case of a down poor you will survive!!!!! - Again like the coats they do a wide range of upper body clothing. From fleese tops, to hooded tops to plain simple tops there is something for everyone. I like the plain coloured tops with the gap logo in the middle, and I have good reason too. The cut goes well with my body, despite me being thin and a bit wirey. And I'm told that the cut
also fits the slightly broader person. So yet again Gap has done a good job, as I previously mentioned the colour is another reason why I am attracted to these sweatshirts. They are plain and simple, comfortable stylish and good for any occasion. Whether it be lazing around the house or goind out, casually dressed of course. So my verdict Gap sweatshirts will suit everybody and they're reasonably priced so you can get style at half the price of other designers. I recommend the coat and sweatshirt to anybody whose looking for either of these items. And that person who does not want to kill the bank balance but look trendy at the same time!!!
