Advantages: Low prices reasonable quality

Disadvantages: Crowded and long queues

I was in Stratford On Avon on Saturday and in the faternoon a friend and myself went shopping for an hour or so on a newly extended retail park and this had a George by Asda store which is not something I had seen before, I have come across the clothing in an Asda but not a stand alone store.

This shop was on two floors and sold a whole lot more than just clothes, the ground floor was devoted to clothes with sections for men, women and children while the upstairs was devoted to a range of household items, there was a big electrical section selling TV, stereos, computers as well as video games and DVD's. There was a large greetings card section as well as a cafe. The other half of the floor space was given over to furniture and general ornaments as well as childrens toys.

I was quite impressed with the clothing section for women, there was a good range of choice and the prices were very low however I was most impressed with the prices, I bought a couple of casual sweaters and they appear to be really well made and both were under £10, it will be interesting to see how they are after a couple of washes. I was less impressed with the underwear which was functional rather than attractive.

The sop was incredibly busy and the queues were quite long at the set of six check outs however the line kept moving pretty well so it was not too bad.
