Advantages: Cheap, good quality clothing

Disadvantages: Sizes not always correct

George at Asda is affordable, good quality clothing.

I buy nearly all of my childrens clothing from George and find that if I want to go on a big shopping spree for the next size up clothes I can kit them both out for about £60 each! Also when I do the weekly shop I just pop an odd item in here and there and never even notice the cost its that cheap. I tend to buy alot for my youngest as he is 7 months and growing sooo fast. On average it costs about £8-£10 for an outfit but alot of the little tops are £1-£2, trousers £4-£8 and you can pick up plain white vests for £2 for a pack of 3 and 3 plain sleepsuits for £3.50!

For my eldest, who is 3 years old, I can pick tops up for roughly £2-£5 and trousers between £5-£10. You can actually get boys Jeans for £1.75 which are smart price - these are not the best looking jeans but are great for playing out in. I bought some for my son about a year ago and they are still going strong - although starting to get a little short now! I also bought his uniform for nursery there and although I cant remeber exact prices, I managed to get 5 pairs of black socks for £1, black trousers for about £4 i think and some wellies for about £5. I also buy his underwear there and get 4 pairs of boxer shorts for £2 and they are great quality.

I like shopping for myself at George too. I love that I can go in and see a jumper or jeans etc and can afford to buy them without thinking! You can get a whole outfit with accessories for about £30 - if I go to some of the highstreet shops I can spend well over £100 on an outfit.

The only disadvantage I find with George clothing is that sometimes the sizes are not right. Just after I had my youngest son I was a size 14-16 and went to buy a top from George. I ended up having to buy a size 8 as the sizes 14 and 16 were massively big. I am definately not an 8 although I wish I was! I have also noticed that sometimes I can buy 3-4 in trousers for my eldest and they fall right down so mainly have to buy a size smaller.

Overall though great for clothes!

Summary: Great, affordable, good quality - just watch out for the sizes
