Advantages: Good quality gear at bargain prices
Disadvantages: Limited selections in smaller stores
Where would I be without George by Asda? Since they opened a huge store in my home town I've been hooked on their bargain clothes and accessories which have added a new lease of life to my wardrobe without damaging my bank balance.
They produce and sell a fantastic selection of clothing, accessories, footwear and jewellery for men, women and children plus a small selection of good quality make up. The items available can vary depending on the size of the store but if you're lucky and have a huge store nearby then you're in for a treat.
The quality of their clothing is very good, I have bought items there, worn and washed them several times and after 3 years they still look as good as the day I first took them home. To give a few examples, t-shirts can be picked up for £3, cosy hoodie style tops for £5 and a complete 3 piece suit for under £50, perfect for someone starting out in their first office job or simply if you want to look good without spending the Earth. I bought a pair of black ankle boots there over a year ago and they're still going strong.
I will always buy the majority of my clothes and jewellery from George, of course you wont always find everything you want or need there but its a great base to start from and is excellent during these credit crunching times.
Summary: Why pay more for such good quality
