George or Georgio? (George by Asda)

George by Asda is a great value brand, it might not be designer and up to the minute cat walk fashion but it is very wearable and very reasonably priced. Being a larger guy it is often hard finding nice clothing that doesn't have a tapered fit and i'm not prepared to pay extra money to get clothing altered.

The mens range is pretty diverse, with a lot of variety in tee-shirts, jeans, jackets and even full two piece suits. What's more all the sizes are actually on point, i hate it when i buy a size XL and it is more like a Medium, or when those regular jeans or more like three quarter lengths, but rest assured this is not the case in George in my experience.

I would describe most the clothing range as casual, with some smart/casual items also. However i have noticed more recently more clothing replicating the fashion trends of other big high street brands and at a fraction of the price. If i cut out the George label no-one would know it from Georgio Armani, ok, maybe a slight exaggeration but my point being the quality is excellent.

A jumped i bought from there a few years back has been washed and worn more times than i can count and the fabric is still in perfect condition.

My overall valuation is that it for the price you can pick up some quality items and although they may not be cutting edge fashion, you can still look relatively trendy on a low budget.

Summary: Cheap doesn't always equal bad.
