I can't enthasis enough how much value for money the George range (and I mean range) at Asda provides.

In many other areas of its range (clothing and other things) George has really changed in the past five years and it no longer just sells clothing which can then just be labelled as cheap. I now find their clothing to be of very good quality (especially for the cheap price) and their range available to be boarding of fashionable. Not all of their clothing items are fashionable to me or seem like clothing someone with taste would choose to wear, but there are plenty of items dotted around if you look which are really in style and gorgeous to wear.

By best buy has to be proper women's blouses. They come fitted and either long sleeved or 3/4 length, and they were only £2 each. I've been wearing them on a regular basis for two years now and I've had no problems with the quality in terms of rips or lost buttons. Definitely value for money and my small investment seems to certainly have lasted.

As well as clothing this range now has various accessories for hair and jewellry, and many George ranges/stores have their own jewellry counters now too. At these counters you can get some really nice pieces at really decent prices, I'd really liken the range to what you find within Argos store with Elizabeth Duke. As well as cheaper prices you can also find much nicer and quality items too, as they seem to cater to a climbing budget too. I wouldn't say the rest of the jewellry you can buy in store can be labelled as quality but the range usually includes some really nice pieces which are really fashionable and gorgeous to wear, and the range available in this area is huge too. The range of items for hair isn't as extensive though but you can still find some nice items, but they seem to cater for a younger market than I'd like.


Sorry I've not been able to say anything about the children's range and the men's but this review is purely from a woman's buying prospective when buying for herself. Though, I can comment slightly on the range of baby clothes available at asda and the fantastic prices, which I think it a hugely important factor with baby clothing as they grow out of them so quick you really shouldn't be paying too much. As well as all their baby items being really great cheap prices, their range is fantastic too, and not colour limited like at Tescos where you seem to just have the option of blue or pink. Asda's range of baby clothes seems to be fantastic to and well worth searching through to pick up those essential items and special outfits.
