George at asda, is in my opinion offers the best selection and value out of all the supermarket clothing ranges. If you haven't ever had the good fortune of spending a carefree hour browsing through the George section, I really think your missing out on a great shopping experience.
The layout
The beauty of the George department, is it is based in the asda store itself. In my asda store,the George department is upstairs. The first thing that strikes me whenever I visit is how well presented and layed out the Department is. It is light and airy and The isles between the clothes are especially big in order for the customer to easily wheel their shopping trolley through. The layout is not only pleasing to the eye but it is also very easy to find what you looking for,as everything has its own place. So for instance if you are looking for children's school jumpers,then you can go directly to that area. This is useful if you haven't got a lot of time on your hands. The department has different sections which provide not only clothes and shoes for men and women but children as well.
you will notice when you visit George for the first time, how bang on trend the clothes are. Not only is the variety and choice amazing but the sizing is excellent too. The sizes For women range mostly from an 8 to a 24. Which I think is fantastic news for the more curvy lady as they are not pointed to an outsize section which offers unflattering old fashioned tents. George addresses the fact that us more curvy and vivacious girls want to look trendy and sexy too!!!
The quality of the clothes are excellent I have bought so many items there,and I have washed them and both the colour and material stay looking good. The inside label always comes with washing instructions and ive found that if you follow these you wont go far wrong.
The cost of the clothes is just amazing. It is so reasonable and good value for money. Throughout the George area you will find clothing that will suit anybody's budget they even do smart price T-shirts for 1.50 which I have bought for round the house and they are fantastic. On the other side of the coin they do great glamorous dresses That make are always under 30 quid and never fail to make you feel like one hot mamma!!!
The range is often inspired by one or two catwalk pieces and I have even seen dresses being compared to designer in magazines with always excellent reviews. The only downside to this though is these pieces usually sell out really fast. One other thing that I find excellent is that you will mostly always be able to find accessories that will go great with chosen outfit in the accessories area of the department. The accessories are so cool and fashionable. And are of excellent quality and price.
It is really difficult to not write forever and a day about how fab George is. I could go into all the different fashion ranges and suchlike but I think it would be better for you to go and take a look yourselves you will not be disappointed. Don't forget George clothing has just as vast a section in men and children's clothes and these again are really smart and trendy. The Baby section is adorable and I have bought loads of items from this baby range over the years and have never been disappointed by the choice or price. Although it is worth pointing out that they seem to have a lot more choice for baby girls than boys.
In conclusion George clothing department is everything you need in order to maintain yourself or your family in high quality, fashionable and cost effective clothing and accessories. I would say go and have a browse next time you have an hour to kill, and you will not be disappointed. There are great gift ideas as well for Christmas and you can also purchase George gift cards which you can put any amount of money on.
