Great cheap, gorgeous dress! Definitely recommend.

As it's now summer and I'm soon going on holiday, I wanted to buy some really nice summer dresses but with a reasonable price tag. I decided to hit Asda as the range of clothing is fantastic, with guaranteed quality for a very good price. They had many styles and variations to choose from, one that partially caught my eye was this simple yet gorgeous dress. I have recently become a huge fan of strapless dresses, as I find that flatter my figure beautifully and are just very girly. The dress as you can see from the picture, is white with navy blue horizontal stripes. The top of the dress is slightly elasticated to give extra support, seeing as there are no straps, which prevents the dressing slipping or falling down. The dress is made from 50% Polyester and 50% Viscose. It is machine washable so there is no need to worry about the shape and colour being affected. I have approximately washed this about four times and it still looks brand new. I have also used the tumble dryer and the iron on the dress, which has not affected the dress in any way. The length is brilliant, ending just above the knee, showing enough skin looking flattering and girly, but not enough skin to make you look like your over doing it. I absolutely adore this dress, as the style is so simple, yet looks very girly and elegant. The dress is extremely flattering, enhancing my curves in all the right places. It is very comfortable to wear, with the elastic not being too tight that it pinches your skin, but just enough to stop the dress from slipping down. What I also love about this dress is that when it reaches your hips, it flows out a little bit, perfect for hiding any lumps or bumps you may not want people to see or if your feeling slightly insecure about your body on a particular day. It is definitely high quality with double stitching in some places, making it feel very secure. I was extremely pleased with my purchase, so pleased I went back to Asda and bought the same dress but with yellow horizontal stripes. The only problem with this dress would have to be the sizing, so it would be hard to purchase online due to the fact if you went for your average size, you would most probably find that you had some extra room within the dress. Sizes available are XS, S, M, L and XL. I went for XS which was perfect for me, usually I would of gone for a small, but when trying it on, there was quite a bit of extra room and felt like it wasn't supportive enough. I would recommend buying in store, so you are able to try it on just to make sure. I bought this dress for £8, which I think is an absolute bargain! The high quality you are receiving and also the gorgeous design, is definitely worth the £8. I can only estimate the sizing, going by my size as I'm not 100% sure; * XS - 6-8 * S - 8-10 * M - 10-12 * L - 12-14 * XL - 14-16 I did buy this dress a few months ago, I have checked online and I cannot seem to find the dress, so I am not sure whether its just out of stock, or if it has been discontinued. At the time of purchase there were more colours and pattern designs in this style. All absolutely gorgeous and at £8 you can't go wrong. Overall this dress is beautiful designed, with a very cheap price tag attached I would highly recommend! Very flattering, comfortable dress! A fantastic buy!

        Lovely!

Warmer weather means one thing to me! Revamping my wardrobe! Living by the sea nowadays I convinced myself recently that I needed some nice new summer frocks and browsing in my local Asda store I noticed they had plenty to choose from in styles I really like! This bandeau style dress comes in sizes xs, small, medium, large and extra large. No size is really given apart from that but I this that a size xs is about a size 6-8, a small is an 10-12 medium 14-16 and so on. All dresses though really are generous in size and simply hang off the hips anyway with the top of the dress being slightly but comfortably elasticated. Made from 50% Polyester, 50% Viscose this has a cotton like soft feeling to it with it dark blue and white thick stripes all over it. It is fully machine washable and tumble dry safe and although I wash and wear this dress often I have had no isses with it at all. The style of the dress is pretty and its really good quality too and looks well made with double stitching to most places on the dress. Just above knee length (on my 5.8 frame it is anyway) the skirt section is flattering and loose. The top is as I stated earlier gently elasticated as it has no straps to it meaning that providing you purchase the right size it stays up without falling or rolling down and although elasticated you can't really see that on the outside of the dress and it certainly doesn't pinch my skin at all. I love this simple, flattering dress and find it easy to get a casual or slightly more dressed up look from it. Lightweight but not see through at all its a superb buy for £8.00 in my opinion and it comes in different colours and patterns too so there is something to tempt most ladies I'm sure! This gets a thumbs up from me and my bf loves it too! Only available from Asda stores or from Asdadirect.com
