I think there is nothing nicer than putting your pyjamas and dressing gown on and snuggling in front of the television in the evening. I have got a few dressing gowns of varying lengths for the different seasons and I wear this short dressing gown in the spring and autumn months when it is not cold enough for my floor length one and too warm for my thin summer ones.
I bought this from my local small Asda store for £10.00 in a size 16-18 last year, but they also come in sizes 8-10, 12-14 and 20-22. This size is quite generous on me but it enables me to wrap myself up in it and feels lovely and snugly. Mine is a cream colour but I have seen them in a pink and also blue at the same price.
This is called a short dressing gown but it actually comes to just below my bottom. It has two large deep pockets to the front and a belt which is long enough to tie at the front of the dressing gown and which holds it in place when tied. There is a fold back collar which goes all the way round the neck and down to the chest and the wrap over is very generous so that when you tie the belt round it doesn't gape open.
It is made of 100 per cent polyester and is very soft and fluffy to the touch. I will wash it in the washing machine on a 30 or 40 degree wash and it dries very quickly and seems to fluff back up again when it is dry. My tumble dryer is currently not working but I would probably finish it off in there if it was working.
This dressing gown is very well made and has shown no signs of wear and tear and I have worn and washed it a lot now. I would definitely buy another one of these from Asda
and they also do a similar one in a long length which I would also buy which I think is around £16. This dressing gown does look and feel a lot more expensive than it was, it definitely keeps me feeling cosy and snug and is recommended by me.
I bought one of these from Asda back in January, I was expecting my daughter in february and I wanted a smaller dressing gown to take to hospital that didn't take up too much room in my bag. The dressing gown costs £10 and comes in a variety of colours. I bought a grey version.
The dressing gown is made from a fluffy fleecy material. The dressing gown has a really soft touch. It is a wrap around dressing gown so it can be tied inside then you can also tie the front belt for extra warmth. The dressing gown has a hood too.
The dressing gown is made of 100% polyester.
It comes in sizes small (8-10), medium (12-14), large (16-18) and extra large (20-22). I am normally a size 12-14 but as I was pregnant I bought a large.
The dressing gown is a lot shorter than my normal one. It comes to just below my hips (I am 5ft6) the belt fitted nicely around my waist and the sizing is really generous. The dressing gown feels really warm and snug on, as you can wrap it around and secure it twice it feels a lot warmer than just a normal belted gown. I haven't used the hood but it is nice and fleecy and a good size also.
I have worn this most days since January. It has survived several washes and tumble dries. In fact it has a nicer appearance after being tumble dried as it fluffs back up. I have to say this item washes really well. In the early days when my daughter was small she was constantly being sick over me it hasn't stained at all and the colour is still great.
I love this so much I have bought a second one in red so I can alternate! I would give this 5 out of 5 it is cheap and a really good buy.
For my birthday I posed a real problem for my flatmate/bestmate. I am someone who soon as she says she wants something and simply goes out and gets it. I'm not the sort of person who wants this, that and the other for long cos by hook or crook I get stuff!
This was something that if I'd of seen it...I'd of wanted it. I suffer with the cold terribly and tend to even in the day time chuck over my clothes a big dressing gown or something which can make me look like a complete slob, this however I was really pleased with because being short does look a bit more like a jacket over my clothes if I want to wear it that way!
The jackets come in small, medium, large and extra large and in colours light cream, navy, beige and black and white spots and all cost £12.50 each. Mine is the cream and in small. Now size wise it is difficult to judge what size is what really. I'm a size 8-10 and the small is perfect and a bit loose on me so I guess a medium would be a size 12-14, the large 16-18 and the extra large probably about a size 20 (as a rough guide) so if your not sure pop into Asda and try one on, otherwise you can buy from the website which is wwwasda.com.
They are made from polyester, are machine washable and can be tumble dried...so very, very easy to look after these are.
This is one of my best presents ever! Soft and snuggly and incredibly warm these are quite simply a gorgeous thing to own!
The jackets come to just below the bum and have a huge hood to the top of them. They are fleecy to the inside and out making them really soft to the touch and have a ribbon tie on the inside of the jacket and a detachable belt to the outside of them (also fleece and of the same colour as the jacket) which is quite long and can be secured into two hoops on the jacket.
I get ever so warm in mine and so have to wash it frequently and I love washing it! It has simply made it more soft to the touch and it doesn't look one bit worn over time. I can iron it for extra smartness though I don't feel the need to at all.
This is a really brilliant short dressing gown. It looks smart and is ever so soft, cosy and well made and I love mine so much that I want to collect all of the colours Asda have on offer as I get so much use out of it!
Brilliant buy, highly regarded and recommended from me....this is!
