Advantages: Cleavage
Disadvantages: None
Being a teenager, and a rather scrawny one at that, was not much fun for me. Why? Well, because I had next to no bosom at all! I put up with the jeering taunts from the "lads", you know, the really "funny" ones about you being an ironing board substitute, or the one about you being like buried treasure.........SUNKEN CHEST. Hahaha, Oh how I would titter! *Yesidoo looks knowingly at the flat chested girls reading!* I was 15ish when Gossard and Wonderbra first hit the headlines BIG time, with their new range of push up bras. Me and my best mate could not wait to buy ourselves one. At the time, the cost of one was £24! Which was twice was I was earning as a saturday girl at Wilkos!! Still, we both weighed up the options, on the one hand.....No boobs, but spare cash, on the other......CLEAVAGE and skint!! So, obviously we chose the latter. I think I wore that bra every day of my teenage years, (well, obviously my mum washed it, I didn't literally wear it for 4 years non-stop LOL) Since then I have never looked back. Gossard have brought the cost down for some of their ranges, mainly through competition. The styles are fabulous, and come in a variety of ranges, from Sexy, sultry, practical, and comfy. I have never used anything else, and even though my chest has umm, well, it's better than it was when I was 14 put it that way, I still use them now!. You can trust the style, quality, and "push-upness" of them any day. Without them my teenage years would have been much more full of angst. THANKYOU GOSSARD!!!

- 27/12/00 A great opinion Lisa. Well done (again).
Its not just teen angst, and I know of several women who would do almost anything for a bigger bust - as the amazing success of the plastic surgery profession has shown. Pricing those operations show us that many women are very serious about 'improving' their busts.
If a woman feels that a little boost in the bust will make her feel more self-confident then a wonder-bra (or those silicone cup bras for around £40) are worth whatever that increase in confidence is worth (and is sometimes almost priceless). - TK |
