Advantages: uplift

Disadvantages: if the bras are too small they tend to lift you up to your chin! plus you bulge out, and that's never pretty!

I know this is going to sound like a cheesy pun, but I really have to get this off my chest; I am having a great deal of difficulty finding nice, fashionable bras in my size in all of the major brands, and I don't even think my chest is ridiculously big (38DD - E). Wonderbra do go up to a 38DD in some styles, as do gossard (but these seem to be rather small), but the sizing varies a great deal between styles, and I find that it is only relatively few that will fit me (the wonderbra bliss range seems to be the safest bet), and generally not in those that maximise cleavage (balcony styles being my favourite, but I can hardly ever find these). Debenhams glamour range have started to stock fashionable styles in larger sizes, but I feel that major lingere retailers should follow suit, only last week in la senza (where in the past I have been very happy with what I found) I discovered that all of the styles they were promoting as new stock only seemed to go up to a 38D. Retailers should realise that girls with larger chests want uplift as much as everyone else, and begin to cater to these needs, as I have several friends with the same complaint.

I believe that this is a common problem, I also find that the bra that I want is never available in my size, or if it is sold in my size shops never have any in stock, grrr!

Very enlightening. I believe that most girls can sympathise with your situation, my flat mate ('flat' being a considerably inappropriate term in her case) has a similar problem to your own. But with a bit of tape combined with logistical folding and tucking, she has overcome her so called disability. I, however, have no problems fitting into bras, my main concern is my inability to find pretty/mmm sexy bras, at a non-exorbitant price. Oh yeah, and when I do find a nice style, they never, ever have it in my size - the demand for my size is considerable in comparison to supply. (b)rah indeed.

I too have difficulty in finding bras in my size. As I have only got a couple of fried eggs, manufactors seem to have decided that its obviously not worth me wearing one!
