Advantages: cleavage, cleavage, more cleavage
Disadvantages: uncomfy, itchy
May be it was down right vanity, a hot date or that secret need to get cleavage that saw me aged 22 and a little bit ( yes you could get wonderbras in the 80's so nah nah!)standing in the middle of one of those underwear shops looking discreetly at the racks of bras and what I would class as pulling pants( you know the ones folks all silky n lacy and only worn for best or that special occassion!!). Within moments I was accosted by one of the more mature lingerie assistants who soon had me whisked away for the measuring. It isn't really suprising that half of the Uk population wear the wrong size bra as this was rather an embarrassing experience ( at least you blokes get to measure in the comfort of your own home) finaly the dear sweet woman came up with a bra size and yes I had been wearing the wrong size. Now I'd secretly wanted a Wonderbra - for all that wonderful cleavage I was gonna get so off she went and returned with the said item. Back in them days Wonderbras came in two colours black or white and were off the lacy design. So budding sex sirens in the 80's really were very limited, no satin look, no rampant red, no virginal pinks only black or white lace for us. The design of the Wonderbra makes it a very sturdy and supporting bra as it whisks your breasts into unbelieveable positions. Comfort doesnt come into - it well its a small price for cleavage isn't it?? The Wonderbra is build on akin to civil engineering projects think Humber bridge think Wonderbra. The Wonderbra is built to last. With underwired cups cut away at the front to seperate and lift the breasts, an elasticated back and side section ( when I say elasticated I mean elasticated in the way surgical support stockings are elasticated)with extra support at the back and the usual 3 hook and eyes. This little beauty has been engineered to give you that all desired cleavage and it has that extra special bit of help - the removalable pads to gi
ve you just a little bit more oomph should the need arise(lol). Now since I spent the 80's in baggy jumpers, old shirts and the occassional baggy T shirt I'm still wondering why I actually bought this bra. Low cut for me was leaving the second button on my shirt undone!!! On trying the bra on I was rather disappointed to say the least. Where was my cleavage where was my come n get em boys boobs??? BUT that secret bit of padding did kind of help matters and my friend also mysteriously muttered buy it we'll sort it out at home. So I parted company with the best part of £15 and took the treasured object home. My friend soon remedied my lack of mega cleavage by stuffing a old sock down there and wahooooo I had cleavage of near mega proprtions ( well for me!). So strapped into this contraption dressed in my usual attire of baggy shirt leggings etc I was off for a night out with the man of my dreams ( who turned out to be Mr Nightmare) The one thing I found with this bra is it isn't comfy. Ok maybe you shouldn't be wearing it with "extra padding" but I found on all the occassions I did wear it ( without "extra padding" as well I hasten to add) that it felt like I was strapped into some kind of medieval tourchering device. It was too supportive, the lacy bits itched and I don't think my boobs were meant to be held at such an angle!! I also found I was constantly trying to adjust it to make it a wee bit more comfy, rather difficult in polite company I can tell you. Now a word of warning should you decided to give mother nature and the wonderbra a little bit of a helping hand in getting mega cleavage ie stuffing a sock down the front as well do take said sock out should thinks get a little bit "hot". Looking back I can giggle now about it but at the time I was mortified!!!! Would I recommend a wonderbra? Probably not due to the fact they are prehaps the must un comfy
bra I've ever worn 2 out of 10 for comfort. On the cleavage scale it gets an 8 !
