      A fantastic Springsteen top

One of my pet hates is people who wear band t-shirts when they have no idea who the band are, or know any of their songs. However this appears to have become trendy in recent times, and so high street stores are widely selling band t-shirts as 'fashion'. On the plus side, it does mean that on occasion I can pick up a great band tee for a lot cheaper than if I bought it online, like I used to have to!

I have become a bit of a Springsteen fan over the past few years and so when I saw this top on sale on the H&M website, I couldn't resist treating myself to it.

      THE TOP
This is a jersey, baseball-style top with 3/4 length sleeves. The sleeves are a teal colour and the main body of the top is white. The front of the top features the classic artwork from the cover of Bruce's Born in the USA album - which of course is Bruce standing in front of the US flag with his back to the camera and a red baseball cap tucked into his jeans pocket.

I think this looks very retro and I usually wear this with blue jeans, both baggy and skinny, or a blue denim skirt. It's nice under a cardigan or just for vegging around the house in. It's very casual looking and will look good during the summer at festivals or gigs... I will be wearing this to Bruce's concert in Belfast in July!

This top is made from 50% viscose and 50% polyester. The label advises that this should be machine washed at 40˚.

I find the material is a bit on the thin side, too much so for my liking. It's not thin enough that your underwear shows through it, but it's not far off it to be honest. Therefore this isn't something I have been wearing much outside due to the colder weather, but it will be great to wear out and about during the warmer months.

I got this for £7 because it was in the online sale, however I believe the original price was £14.99 which is still pretty cheap in my opinion.

This top is currently available on H&M's website as part of their sale, however sizes available are limited so if you like the look of this, you had better snap it up as soon as possible. I assume that this may also be available in some of H&M's stores also.

If you're a fan, absolutely! If not, then please leave well alone, thanks ;)
