Advantages: Design some great clothes

Disadvantages: Some big questions

I have quite a few things by Hugo Boss and all of them have justified their price tags to me in style. Hugo Boss is a very established brand of designer clothes which like most competitors has several lines whose price tags vary massively in price.

Like all designers, Boss produce some clothes that I think look amazing whilst other clothes that they design certainly don't look very good in my opinion- this just comes with the nature of clothes designing I think.

One of the items that I think Boss do very well are just plain t-shirts. These tend to fit very well and they look pretty smart no matter what outfit you are wearing. They tend to be around £30, which is not bad as these things go.

The only drawback is that Boss does have a slightly questionable history. You have to make your own mind up about this, and if it concerns you, read more about it don't just rely on me- Boss were responsible for helping design various Nazi outfits.

This part aside, Boss design some fantastic clothes and a good proportion of them are just about affordable.

Summary: A great brand regardless of history
