      Jumper

Jane Norman multi grey tweedy bobble jumper

I am frequently to be found on the Jane Norman site, www.janenorman.co.uk, looking for bargains in the sale section. I find that the products in the sale represent good value for money and I tend to buy a lot of the jumpers for work because due to the nature of my job, I have quite a high turnover of clothes! Delivery costs £3.95 regardless of the size of the order (so its worth buying a few things for fit and style) and the items always arrive within 3-5 working days, nicely packaged in tissue. The only issue I have with delivery is the fact that the returns fee is the responsibility of the customer so I order only things which I am sure will fit.

This jumper was £30.00, then reduced to £15.00 and finally I bought it when it was £9.00 which is great value for a winter into spring jumper.

The jumper is 100% acrylic and is machine washable which is always a major bonus. I find that when washed I can just hang the jumper to dry and it doesn't even need ironing- even better! Even after several washes, it has kept its shape and shows no signs of bobbling or wear.

When I wear it, the jumper feels very soft and cosy and not at all scratchy which sometimes happens with some woollen jumpers I have bought. It has wide ¾ length sleeves so I wear a long sleeved top underneath; because of the colour of the jumper I can actually wear quite a few colours under the jumper with the top not clashing. There is a small turn up on the bottom of the sleeves so they don't become all floppy and unmanageable. The jumper has a wide roll neck which drapes down slightly but not so much that the top underneath can be seen and it stays upright enough to ensure my neck doesn't feel cold. One thing I find however is that it is slightly too high for a scarf and I do miss wearing my scarf!. The colour of the jumper is predominantly grey although there are a few flecks of darker greys and black which gives it its tweedy name. On the front of the jumper is some cabling design and bobble details which adds to the look of the jumper being a cosy one.

When I wear this for work I usually wear it with black trousers as it's all too grey with grey trousers, and boots. However, I also wear it with skinny jeans and boots and it looks good, smart without being too formal.

It is nice and warm but because of the length of the sleeves, it's definitely a jumper I wear when the weather isn't as bitter as mid winter- when it's really cold I have to have the full length of my arms encased in several layers of wool!

The jumper is available in sizes 6-14

      VERDICT...

This has proved to be a great bargain. It washes well and can be worn for work or at weekends with jeans, so fairly versatile. I like the style of it and it is nice and warm.

      Recommended.

      Thanks for reading
