Advantages: cheaper than high street, lots of choice Disadvantages: a longer journey
Well where do I start? I own over 15 pairs for maximum variety, with a mixture of hues, styles and sizes. I reckon there's a pair out there to suit everyone, but I tend to get mine from Topshop, Miss Sixty and Diesel. However, I rarely pay full price for my branded denim. I would recommend going to one of the outlets just outside of some big cities to get some decent brands. Bicester Village in Oxfordshire has Diesel, Levis, Earl, DvB, Ralph Lauren, DKNY and Miss Sixty to name a few, so at least you won't have to pay crazy high street prices as they can be up to 70% off (I once got a Firetrap pair for £15). There are always lots of styles in stock, and you can get something that's a bit different to what everyone else is wearing. I would recommend Miss Sixty and Diesel for more distressed effects, stitching and pocket details and Levis for more casual styles. Summary: never pay full price! |
