A must have for any wardrobe! (Jeans)

Advantages: Comfortable, can be dressed up or down, never go out of fashion.

Disadvantages: Some can be too stretchy and as a result can become baggy whilst wearing.

After watching Trinny and Susannah I have to agree with them that every wardrobe needs a good pair of jeans that suit your figure. I have found that these do not have to be expensive but a nice fitting pair can really change your figure and the way you look. Jeans are so multifunctional and can be made to be casual or dressy. I think the only place where I do not wear jeans is in the office. There are so many different types of jeans on the market now but my favourites are skinny jeans and bootcut.

Both of these can be dressed up or down. I tend to wear my skinny jeans with longer tops and flat shoes/or heeled boots when out and about in the day but in an evening I would put a pair of killer heels with them to dress them up.

Bootcut Jeans I think tend to look better with heels so I always tend to go for a pair that are long enough to almost cover my jeans. I find that by doing this is makes my legs look longer and slimmer.

I tend to buy my jeans from Jane Norman and Next for the comfort and the fact that they fit well. Primark also do nice skinny jeans that are really comfortable.

The only thing I am careful of when buying jeans is the amount of stretch in them. So many times I have purchased jeans to find that after 30 minutes wear they are too big and baggy and do nothing for me, so beware of this as something that look lovely when first worn following a wash can look completely different not long after!
