I love love this headband. Its extremely versatile and can be used for absolutely every thing. My friend likes to call it a bandana but to me a bandana is just a fasion accessory. This headband is too versatile to be just called a bandana.
I bought it solely because I thought it looked cute. The black version (which is the version I bought) would go with any casual outfit. I wear it with tracksuits and gym gear as well as Jeans and Tees. Its super cute and changes an outfit completely. It comes in a variety of colours though so you are not just limited to the black as some people do find balck dull and boring.
It is also great to just cover up hair on a bad hair day, if you haven't had time to wash your hair and are in a super rush, just through this on and instant glamour. I use it to keep my hair together in the gym, to keep my hair back when applying make-up, doing my eye brows etc. Its super handy and for the price I paid it is definitely worth it.
It is also machine washable and doesn't shrink or fade in a normal 40 degree wash. Well, I have my one for a few months (maybe five or six) and I have washed it a couple of times and it still looks perfect. When I picked it up for under 5 euro ...even less in pound sterling...I thought it would come in handy, but it has been much more of a beneficial buy than I first thought. Worth the price tenfold!!
Thanks for adding this suggestion Dooyoo crew.
My son was a market seller in his school performance before Christmas last year (2010) and needed some sort of a hat for it, I didn't go looking for a bandarf mainly because I'd never heard of one until I saw it. I was after a flat cap really.
I came upon this Bandarf in my local poundstretcher. The price tag was £5.99. I pondered about it for a few minutes whilst reading the info on it and decided to purchase it for him.
The company is JML www.jmldirect.com Now to me this is a company that always have the latest newest goods on the market, they advertise various products on tv and show where they can be purchased. This Bandarf says as seen on tv but I have not seen it yet in the adverts. Their products as always well priced meaning you may pay what seems an above average price but the quality is always there. I'm sure my ped egg was from JML too.
Now about the bandarf, it sounds like it is a cross between a bandana and a scarf well really it is just that.
It's a multi wear headscarf.
It comes in a choose of 6 funky designs which are camouflage which is the one my son has, oriental, floral, black, splatter or paisley.
The material is like a elastic type of cotton so it has plenty of stretch in it. The product as stated on the card sleeve it comes on is unconditionally guaranteed for 1 year against defects of workmanship and materials.
The Bandarf is a rectangular shape tuba. There are 12 different ways to wear this which gives it the amazing multi wear status. I will list the 12 ways now.
From a wristband or hair scrunchie to a balaclava or beanie is pretty clever in my opinion.
The card on the back shows you all the 12 styles and also shows you how to do two of the styles which are a beanie and bandana, the rest are simple to do.
The beanie is simply to place bandarf on arm and pull it off so it goes inside out, place half onto head then rotate the other half 360o and then fold down onto other half leaving a beanie with no bits sticking out, nobody would ever know it was a wristband before lol.
These come in one size only but seeing as elastic material doesn't matter.
It does state not suitable for children but in my opinion it is no more dangerous then your average scarf. My son used it for the school show then it seemed to appear on my hubbys head lol.
This definitely gets the full 5 stars from me. A versatile product that is in with the fashions too. I am tempted to buy another just for myself in the floral style which is colour purple. The price is not too expensive
