      I love mine!

With the weather suddenly looking up a bit lately I have been out and had to buy a few new items of clothing. Alot of my stuff from last year looks scruffy and tight on me so I had a major kick out.

Now I own alot of vest style tops, just the other day I bought 5 more in Primark! I find them versatile and that they can be worn alone or layered, that they can give a casual or smart look and the ones I buy rarely need an iron running over them which is always a result lol.

This Joe Brown's one I bought from Freemans.com (Google if interested for other stockists) and it is currently available in white, black and red and I bought this in the red and all colours and all sizes cost £20.00 per vest top and the sizes are 8-18 and in my view this garment is true to size.

      The Vest Top Itself:

Well like I have already stated I own this in the red colour which really is a rich and vibrant red and its made from 100% cotton so its lightweight but not see through and it is suitable for machine washing, tumble drying and ironing though I do wash mine in the washing machine and allow it to dry naturally on a hanger so I never have to iron it and I have had no issues with colour fade, bobbling or anything else adverse at all.

Style wise this is rather simple and I really like it. Its very well made and well finished, long line and not one bit clingy. It has a slight ribbed look all over it, a scoop neck that really isn't revealing at all and then there is a panel within the top to give it the look of being layered and you get 6 silver little and easy to use buttons and the under panel comes up a little higher than the outer panel of the vest so you do look like you've layered your garments when of course you only have one on.

It has nice thick and wide straps to it which means you can conceal your bra straps (I hate being able to see peoples bra's I really do!) and when its on it doesn't ride up.

I do think that £20.00 for just one vest is quite steep however you are getting a real nice, versatile top with this one and one that is really well made and should last ages! I love mine and wear it often so thumbs up for this one!
