When it comes to vest tops I own absolutely loads of them. I like them for a casual look, I have some that are dressy, some that can be layered up and some that I simply like to wear for the gym and for cycling in and so on...I pretty much live in them!
This one I bought in the burgundy colour option though I could have bought it in white had I wanted to and both vest tops cost £20.00 each which I do think is rather steep but I am a huge fan of Joe Brown clothing and know that the pieces are usually of exceptional quality and they last absolutely ages too so I think that the clothing works out in the end as value for money.
These are available in sizes 8-18 and made from 100% Cotton, Lace: 95% Polyamide and 5% Elastane and this is a vest top that is really stretchy and with plenty of give in it. Its a lightweight top but not see through or anything like that and it is fully machine washable, tumble dryer safe and suitable for ironing too. I have had no issues with doing any of those things with this top and even though I wash and wear it often and put it through its paces it is as good as new with no bobbling, shrinkage or colour fade at all.
Style wise I really do like this vest top. Its long length and doesn't ride up, has a racer style back and the neckline and armholes are beautifully trimmed with a thin, soft lace and then there are three little white buttons that you can undo for a little bit of a more revealing look should you want to though this really isn't a very revealing vest top at all even with all 3 buttons undone!
With its gentle rib effect I really like this soft to wear and very versatile vest top that I can dress up or down and I think this colour (Heather) is really feminine and pretty too and I'm so impressed with this top and wear it so often that I have actually just ordered this in white as well!
