The one item of clothing I like to have a variety of to pick and choose from are vest tops. I like to have different styles and colours and if the weather permits wear them on there own (so to speak!) or layered up on cooler days.
Now I have always bought cheap vests to be honest in places like Primark but I find the fit of late to look awful on me and the quality of them to be just horrible which is why I decided to place a vest order from my Freemans catalogue and this is one I ordered and I liked it so much I decided to keep it!
This particular style of vest from this brand is available in sizes 8-18 and it is available in few colour options including black and white, green, orange, blue and pink and I bought mine in a deep red option.
The vest top is made from 80% Cotton and 20% Polyester so it is lightweight though you can't see through it and your skin can breath when wearing it. I think this is a very true to size garment and it has a little give to it and is suitable for machine washing and you can tumble dry it should you want to but I just pop this on a quick wash and allow it to dry natural as it really doesn't take very long at all to dry as the material is quite thin and you shouldn't iron this as its supposed to be a slightly crinkle looking vest top.
Style wise I really like this one and as the name of it suggests it really is versatile. It comes to my bum on my 5.8 frame with no ride up, the material isnt skin tight but it is a fitted top, the straps are spaghetti style but with a little adjustable buckle on each to ensure the correct fit then to the front of it there is a slight but not revealing v shape edged with thick but soft coloured contrasting lace on top of the material and its finished with a bow and the armholes and neck are trimmed, with a slightly elasticated type of fabric so again nothing digs in as the seams don't either.
Its a very pretty top this one, washes well and its great being a none iron item! I like the sizing of it and I love the colour I chose....... personally.
At £14.00 a vest top it isn't the cheapest but in my opinion it is worth it and I wear mine very often indeed and I like the fact that I can dress it up or down!
