Joseph is a ladieswear brand which offers classy, elegant clothing which will generally not go out of fashion. Their clothing is mostly smartwear and evening wear - the prices (about £75 for a shirt, £120 for a pair of trousers) mean that the items are mostly worn by the more well-heeled type, but that's not to say that everyone shouldn't take a look at what's there, because actually Joseph is good value.
