      3/5.

I'm a big fan of quirky, vintage design clothes so when I came across this T shirt on the ASOS sale page I couldn't resist getting it. It's a hipster's dream item of clothing - funky, bright and vintage. This is the type of top that some people will love and some people will think that it's hideous! It's very eye catching due to the bright colour scheme, however as colour block is in season it doesn't stand out from what other people are wearing by a ridiculous amount and I don't get weird stares or anything! The design of this top is definietly unusual. It has a large picure of Minnie Mouse's smiling face along with pink, black and yellow triangle detailing. Sounds bizarre I know, but it looks adorable and as soon as I saw it I remembered the character - although Mickey Mouse clothing has been in fashion for a while, I'd actually forgotten all about Minnie Mouse.

Any 90's kid like my self will likely know who the character is as it's a familiar and popular Disney character, which makes the top more versatile - if I walked around in a top with a logo on it of a character I had never seen prior to wearing the top i'd probably feel a bit daft. Minnie looks adorable with her trademark pink bow and long lashes. She has her mouth open wide in an excited grin and the design generally has a real funky, vintage, 90's kid type feel to it if that makes sense.

I feel like a big kid wearing this, but it doesn't look overlly childish. Minnie's face, along with the black, pink and yellow triangles has a large upside down triangle in the background, which is light blue with white detailing which creates quite a cool look. The top itself apart from where the detailing is is a lovely shade of blue. It's not a navy blue - more a dark shade of baby blue. It's a nice colour but I'd of preferred pink or perhaps purple to give the ultimate pop of colour, however as the design is so eye catching, the rather basic background colour works well.

The t shirt has a deep scooped neck, which is quite shapeless and it drapes, so I find that a bandeau or vest underneath is essential. The t shirt is almost sleeveless, with cap sleeve styling. It's basically a t shirt with very short sleeves. The top has a relaxed, almost floaty fit which I like as it's very casual and easy to just throw on over a vest or bikini in the warmer weather. The top is very thin though so bare in mind it's almost sheer if worn with a black bra underneath. The length is shorter than I had imagined it would be and it only just reaches my waistline - i'm a shortie too so on taller girls it will be cropped. Sizes available range from 6 to 18.

The material is lovely and soft, as well as lightweight. It is made of 50% cotton, 50% polyester and it is machine washable. It washes reasonably well but the detailing on the front (the triangle and Minnie's face) is already going slightly tacky after just two weeks, which I think is due to the slightly raised design, and it is also starting to peel slightly - not great considering the RRP of this is £30!! I paid £26 which had it been slightly better quality I'd of been pleased with, and I am suprised in the lack of quality as it was designed by the fashion label junk food, who design for shops such as Topman. To be blunt, the quality isn't much better than a £5 t shirt from Primarni.

Apart from a few reasonably minor niggles though, I do overall reccomend this top... if you can get it cheap. It's eye catching and unique and it looks great with practically anything - shorts, disco pants, jeans, leggings etc and it's really nice and comfy too - it's just a shame about the quality!
