This jumper is amazing and probably the weirdest and most incredibly geeky yet gorgeous item of clothing that I currently own. It kind of reminds me of the type of jumper that grannies knit for newborn babies if you get what I mean, it just has an incredibly shabby chic look and vintage look to it which I love - in my opinion it's a really cute and unique jumper but I am sure alot of people will think it's hideous. It looks better when it's on rather than hanging on a clothes hanger as it looks quite bizzare, but it really brings an outfit to life and is a very unique item of clothing in my opinion.
The jumper is 100% cotton and is knitted - it's really cosey and soft but lightweight at the same time so it's good for most seasons but it is probably a little too thin for winter unless you wore it over the top of a t shirt. It is not itchy at all like some knitted jumpers can be and it does not irritate my skin at all.
Mine is a gorgeous dark blueberry shade of blue, and as far as I am aware this is the only colour available. I love the shade of it because it's a really feminine, somewhat discreet yet noticeable shade. You would think a blue jumper would stick out like a sore thumb but it really doesn't. It has a scoop neck with white acztec detaling around it, and across the chest and shoulder area is a row of identical baby deers which are also white. Each deer has detailing such as eyes, ears, spots, etc and are gorgeous. They really catch peoples eye and i've had comments like "what a lovely jumper!" from even strangers. The jumper's sleeves come just below my wrist and on the left sleeve just above where it reaches my wrist is another baby deer.
The jumper is nice fitting - very feminine and it clings to my hips/waist, so i'd reccomend getting a size bigger than your true size if you want a baggier look but I wouldn't reccomend wearing it too baggy or it won't have the same look. It sort of has a look to it which makes me think it looks like the sort of thing an old fashioned house wife would wear - very smart but cosey at the same time, i'd even go as far as saying it's Granny Chic - I hope you get what I mean lol.
The jumper is waistline length and looks good with jeans or with shorts, I personally would not wear it with leggings but each to there own. This is machine washable and i've washed it 3-4 times and it has not lost shape, it's not bobbly and it is still nice and soft.
Price wise the jumper is rather expensive - £38. I was lucky enough to get it for £18 as I had a gift card, but I would definetly of paid full price as I love it to death! So comfy, and looks great too (in my opinion anyway!) The jumper is both on the Topshop website and in store in most, if not all Topshop's. Sizes available: 6 (although this size is sold out online), 8, 10, 12, 14, 16.
Overall a lovely lightweight, cosey knitted jumper with a unique design that I love and I would reccomend buying one of these as I have a feeling once more people know about it (this is a recent addition to Topshop's range), it will become very popular.
