Great clothes, shame about the prices. (Kookai)

In France, this shop is fantastic. In England, it sucks. The difference? In France, the prices seem to be 25%-50% lower. How
the hell can Kookai justify this??? They seem to have made a rather cynical marketing decision: all British females are prepared to pay extortionate amounts to look cool.

Onto the clothes. Yes, they're smart, jazzy and pretty damn funky. Some items are frequently a bit outlandish for my tastes, but I usually come across something that takes my fancy. The quality is considerably better than say Top Shop or Miss Slappers (or should that be Selfridge?) but why should we be forced to pay so much more for cool fashion than our continental cousins? Also it would be good to see stores like this cater for larger sizes - its rare you can find a size 14 in a place like this, let alone anything larger.
