For maximum boost to your cleavage the wonderbra has to be top of any girls list, but they are not really comfortable and they squash you in something rotten. Now I don’t have the world’s largest breasts but the are there, and like any woman I feel much more confident, and powerful, when my boobs look bigger. After all we all know how fickle men are and a flash of flesh makes them putty in your hands! No offence boys but we know the pants are where the brains live!

Anyway onto La Senza I found that this shop sells brilliantly comfortable bras that enhance your natural curves and don’t squash you so much that you feel like you have two melons in your bra. The breasts also look much more natural, as they are not pushed up as far as they can get and squashed together as much as possible. They look natural; my boyfriend was well impressed when I ‘modelled’ them for him. The fabric looks nice and feels soft; importantly it doesn’t irritate the boobs, which I have had bras do not a pretty sight I can assure you!

What you can get in the shop, bra wise that is –

‘Luxurious bras’ – in other words those which make your boobs look bigger and make you feel sexy whilst wearing them. It’s a power trip I suppose but I personally always feel that bit sexier with a nice bra on underneath, and that’s where the boost in the sex life comes in but enough about that! There are a whole range of these things, not only padded bras but gel and air filled (which I personally didn’t like when I tried them on as they felt heavy and uncomfortable, a let down really, gave a good look though but I couldn’t have worn it for long. They are very feminine and comfortable and ooze sex appeal, not only from a female but a male viewpoint, the little bloke was getting all hot and flustered in the shop.

‘Cotton bras’ – these focus on comfort rather than sex (wha
t a shame) but are still very pretty. Perfect for times when you can’t be bothered or are doing manual labour (work I mean) being a cleaner while I fund my education I know all about sweating and the importance of having your breasts nestled nicely. They also come in lift, so you can go for cleavage but I think that the sexier ones are better for this, a much more sensuous feel. Also cotton lets you breath and so is great for when you get all hot and bothered…

‘Bra accessories’ – La Senza not only does bras but they also offer a huge range of accessories. For Example bra strap converters, which allow you to change where your straps lay, meaning you can squeeze into that little black dress without worrying about not being able to wear that favourite bra, the straps can be moved so they don’t show, novel idea really. Along those lines you can also get bra extenders, so if you put on a little weight or the size of your back changes a little you can keep your existing bras and make them that little bit more comfortable. Strapless, backless bras and self-adhesive ones, this shop caters for every event.

‘Others’ – on a little side line this shop also sells ‘chicken fillets’ I mean bits of rubber to shove in your bra to boost your cleavage, an instant boob job with none of the pain.

All bras are available with matching thong r briefs, I prefer thongs personally but that’s just me!

This is what I bought on my last visit to the store and what I thought of them, it was pay day and I was feeling a little flush, when I came out my bank balance had dropped drastically. When the shop assistant asked if I wanted the matching knickers I thought about it for about a second and then decided that I would use my powers of persuasion to get the little man at home to invest in them. After all it’s as much for him as it is me…

Multi Daisy Ultra Lift Bra
in Hot Pink – a cute pink bra with yellow daisy’s on it. I am not a girlie girl so this was a surprise purchase for me but it was very pretty and I simply couldn’t resist. It offers a real boost to the cleavage without it being obvious that you have two pads in your bra. The bra itself is cotton (I think) and has a lace covering over it which has the daisy’s on it. Very cute and feminine. Feels brilliant on, extremely comfortable to wear no matter how long I have it on. The under-wires didn’t dig into me as others do, even when I ‘slept’ in it I still felt like it wasn’t there. It cost £18 which seemed a little steep but it was so nice to look at I know the other half would appreciate the expenditure.

Multi Daisy Ultra Lift Bra in Caribbean – same as above except it is in blue, I am exceptionally pleased with these bras and would recommend them to anyone.

Little Miss Naughty in Black – a little cotton bra that does not boost cleavage, very rare that I buy a bra that relays solely on the assets I have without the added boost. There is a little miss naughty on one of the cups, with hearts surrounding her and ‘little miss naughty’ written underneath, fitting for me I was told! It fits very closely and is a little tight on the bust if I am being truthful. The only downside is that it sticks out at the top and so tight tops are out of the question, great for work and the under-wires are perfect. When this bra was watched it did dull a little but it is still shiny and silky. £12 a great buy!

Little Miss Naughty in Blue – similar to the above bra but it is a little looser, I was disappointed with this bra because after it was washed it got quite misshaped and the cups are all baggy not, I look like I have lumpy boobs when I wear it with anything too tight!

Measuring Service…

It had been a year since I had had my boobs measured and the
bras I was buying were a tad tight and uncomfortable. When I walked into the store I made the decision that I would be measured properly and not just guess. Slightly embarrassed, I don’t like the thought of other women measuring my breasts and comparing them to theirs but I plucked up the courage and walked over to one of the sales assistants and asked them to measure me. A few minutes later a nice looking young woman took me into a changing cubical and told me to take of everything but my bra, as I did. She then measured my back and told me what size I was and then helped me to determine the cup size. She was actually very friendly and put me at ease (steady boys!) and I was able to have a good old natter to her about something and nothing. She then went out and got a few bras in my size, different cup sizes left while I tried each on and then told me which was the best fit cup size, and there we have it she had measured my boobs without seeing them with nothing on <phew>!

I now have a much more comfortable fitting bra and I also hold myself better, the correct size bra is very important for your posture and I am glad that they have told me the right size to buy from now on. It’s free to be measured but you have to wait for a special member of staff who is trained to measure you.

About the store itself…

The Shop was a little cramped, which made it slightly claustrophobic. The displays are cramped together and there is very little room to move, me and the other half had to move closely together, normally not a bad thing but in the middle of a store I do have some standards! There was also the problem of a lot of the bras being too high up so when I wanted my size I had to stretch a lot and then eventually very hot and bothered ask the sales assistant to help me and get it for me, which they are willing to do but when you have a few so you can pick the best on it gets a bit boring.

were very flash and roomy and the staff friendly and helpful, all in all I liked the store even if it was laid out a little poorly

Packaging…

This is what sets the store above other bra shops (well that and their bras!) they spend time to wrap your purchase carefully and neatly and then put it into a rather flash paper bag with string handles, oh along with scented beads. The receipt has its own little holder and is popped into the bag before it is sealed up. Nice bit of packaging, this must be why the bras cost as much as they do, to cover the packaging and training for the staff to wrap it like they do!


Overall I am very pleased with my purchases from La Senza and so was the boyfriend, well at least I think although he couldn’t wait to get them off..! They are extremely comfortable and look great on, I don’t think I have ever owned bras that look and fit like they do. It is well worth the money I had to spend on them and the matching panties complete the sexy look, go on treat yourself and your other half!
