I love buying my knickers at La senza as the staff are very helpful in helpiing men like me to buy the knickers I like and help in choosing the colour to suit I especially like satin bikini type, the girls are so helpful in making sure I get the right size, i normally come out of the shop with about a dozen pair of knickers in all different colours, unfortunately the shop I used the most has closed down so am looking for another shop with staff that are as helpful as the one that shut, am open to suggestions
I love la senza knickers they have such a good range and they are all cute and sexy and last well.
Whether you are buying online or in store there is a wide selection that covers casual cute briefs, sexy thongs, control pants and matching lingerie sets.
My favourite knickers that i advise every woman to try are the cotton lace briefs.
These are a french knicker style brief with lace trim the colour and style varies as they produce different designs all the time but they are the comfiest knickers i have ever worn and yet there still attractive. Definately worth a try.
If your after a sexy look try the lucy lace thong it sits perfectly for a sexy irresistable look.
I will say however that the basic lace knickers can be slightly uncomfortable on certain people rubbing in the wrong places if your one who finds there underwear can shift stay away from the basic lace however the lucy lace is fine.
A sexy alternative is the georgia knickers set a genuine silk mathcing set available in a range of colours.
Overall knickers wise there is a huge selection and they are genrally comfortable and cute. The sizes are extensive and the knickers last which is very important. I have bought elsewhere before only to find the knickers fall apart after a couple of washes.
La senza knickers get a 9/10 for me. Some are expensive but you get what you pay for others are average prices and there are always sales on if you have abudget to keep.
Whenever I need some new underwear or pyjamas, La Senza is the first place I look. To be honest though, I have to admit I do prefer to shop on their website rather than in the actual stores, mainly because I find it easier to find offers on the website, and because in the store the staff seem to always be cornering me trying to sell me something. (maybe this is just the shop I go to, but it is rather off putting).
La Senza sell lots of different stuff; underwear, lounge wear, pyjamas, slippers, sleep accessories and so on..there is a lot to choose from. I personally like to buy girl boxers/shorts so I will review them.
Generally, the prices for boxers/shorts are usually £5, although if they are in clearance can be as little as £1.67. I usually like to buy three boxers for £10 (this seems to be a typical and consistent offer). For price, I do think they are definitely worth it. A lot of shops selling underwear would charge much more extortionate prices, and for how long underwear can last, I have no complaints for spending £10.
The boxers are rather trendy, and usually have a cute or cheeky slogan, or a cool looking picture/pattern, so if you are looking for underwear that is not too bland but doesn't call out for too much attention, the boxers from La Senza are ideal. The shorts tend to have good patterns although not so much any slogans.
I'm generally quite impressed with the quality of the boxers/shorts I buy. They fit perfectly (there are a range of sizes from small-large or starting from size 10) and are extremely comfortable. They don't rub or irritate skin and generally look pretty cute/casual. I also love that when ordering online, they always arrive very well presented in a beautiful La Senza box, which is great because I like to open packages that look pleasant and cared for.
I've been buying La Senza boxers and shorts for a long while now. They wash well and are definitely long lasting. Admittedly, a pair I have had for about 10 months has now got a small hole in so I will probably chuck them ones out, but this is probably my own fault and nothing to do with the quality of the underwear, which in my opinion, is of a good-high standard.
I definitely think the underwear from La Senza is a must try. Affordable, cute and comfortable definitely gives them a good thumbs up.
La Senza is a high street brand that sells underwear, pyjamas, lingerie, slippers and other accessories.
There is nothing but La Senza knickers in my knickers drawer! Snobbish? Perhaps! However I do find that they fit well, last a long time and are ultimately comfortable! As a rule I buy the "full" briefs but you can also buy thongs, French knickers, boy style boxers etc.
La Senza seem to always have an offer on a selection of their knickers and this offer is usually 5 pairs for £12. When you look at the price tags of some of the knickers in this offer and they say £5 you can understand that this is in fact a pretty good deal! They always have a range of knickers in the offer and you will find thongs, briefs, boxers etc.
When you purchase the knickers you are given a little bag, with the underwear wrapped in tissue paper and you are often asked do you want some of the scented beads putting in your bag before they seal it up. There is something that feels quite nicely luxurious about this too!
I would recommend the knickers but be warned you may become a convert! One of my best friends came shopping with me and we visited La Senza. She decided to treat herself and now says she can't go back to "good old asda multipacks" !!!
La Senza is a major high street chain of lingerie for women (obvious I know!) that not only sells bras and knickers, but also pyjamas, slippers and boyfriend shirts.
I shop in La Senza quite a lot, so have worn a lot of their products in different styles, and own quite a few pairs of their knickers. They do plenty of different stlye knickers, so that every woman can find her perfect pair. They do thongs, shorts, french knickers, hotpants and girly boxers. They do sizes from size 6 up to a size 18 (maybe higher, not too sure!)
I own at least one pair of each style they do, and I can honestly say they have all been comfortable and fit really well, although I am two different sizes in La Senza, sometimes one size will fit fine, other times I need the next size down! Just depends on the cut of the knickers I suppose. The knickers usually cost around £5 a pair, but the quality is always top notch, and they last for ages, I have never had a pair break or fall apart or wear out.
Sometimes (currently too!) La Senza have some great deals on their knickers, 5 pairs for £12 on selected styles is one of the deals I always go for, as you can save loads of money, and they always have some really nice knickers in the deal, across all the styles and ranges.
If you can not find time to get to a La Senza store, they do home delivery from their website and there is even a La Senza store on Amazon.co.uk, so you can easily find what you want without the hassle of trying to fit in a shopping trip to a busy day. Free returns are available if the item is not right or is faulty.
I totally recommend La Senza knickers as I have never had a problem with them, and they are top quality pants lol!
La Senza Knickers:
I have had many pairs of knickers from La Senza and I feel I know quite a lot now! I am actually quite picky what I wear, I am not the type of person to say, no-one can see sort of thing. My boyfriend likes me to wear nice knickers- so to make an effort I shop here as they have some lovely selections and they are not too pricey. I know lots of people like different things but, I will go through everything they have to offer us ladies!
They do so many different colour thongs it is amazing. Some have patterns on, some are plain, some are French style, some are frilly and some have bows on! Most thongs are £4.00 and they do sizes 8/10, 12/14, 16/18 and more.
In this section they do pants but not frilly granny ones, these are silk, sexy, flirty and girly. These are also around £4.00 which is really good and they last ages!
La Senza do shorts which target the tomboy kind of market or those who just want to be comfortable. Most boxer shorts have patterns on and they are very colourful. They do look nice but I tend not to wear them as I don't feel very girly!
This is a range of very sexy lace and provocative string. They are gorgeous!
In this section, the have lots of different types of French knickers and lots of different colours. They also have some maternity knickers which is great!
The prices are brilliant and at a couple of quid per pair, this makes it cheap. The sales are brilliant too and you can pick up stuff for very cheap!
The knickers and underwear are all very high quality and I have never had any problems!
As with the bra range in La Senza, the range of knickers comes in many different styles, materials and colours, to suit all women.
Usually, underneath the bras, there will be matching knickers and usually in a few different styles - thong, full knicker, half knicker. This is great as it gives the option of a well priced matching set of underwear, with the ability to choose the knickers that you feel fit best - rather than always being stuck with a thong if you don't like wearing them!
There are also many knickers which do not match bras, some which are silky and sexy, and others which are more fun, such as boy shorts and girl boxers style, with cartoons and pictures on.
La Senza is great around celebrations such as Valentines Day and Christmas time as they always have ranges in for the event which can be quite fun.
They often have offers on, such as 5 pairs for £10 which gives a great opportunity to get some cheap and well made knickers. I have always found that La Senza underwear is of good quality and lasts well.
Another great time to shop in La Senza is when their sale is on when you can often get underwear for only 50p or £1.
The assistants are always friendly and the shop smells nice. When buying underwear, the assistants wrap it in tissue, place it in a nice bag and often sprinkle perfumed smelly bits(?!) in with it which makes you feel very special!
I love how La Senza has a great, big range of knickers! From something amazingly sexy for the weekend, to plain yet gorgeous everyday knickers. They fit well and are made from cotton/lace that is really comfortable to wear. Many of the knickers have a separate bra, and they make really lovely sets. As La Senza get new stock and ranges quite regularly, they often have clear outs at their stores to make room for the new underwear. You can get some really amazing bargains on full sets. So i'd advise you to go down to your nearest store and get looking!
They do thongs, french knickers, boy shorts/boxers, briefs - there's something for absolutely everyone! All in a huge range of colours, the only problem you will have is stopping at buying just one pair.. Which La Senza have picked up on and they have an offer on; Buy 5 pairs for £12!
There are also 'control briefs' available, they are an absolute godsend for anyone who isn't totally happy with their tummy whilst wearing tight clothes. I particularly favoured wearing mine constantly over the Christmas period with all the parties!
So you are looking for a beat-em-up but want a bit of a plot, or you just like running around bashing monsters indiscriminately? EiNOBr way, I have NOB game for you. Balders Gate is based around NOB old style Dungeons and Dragons paper and dice game. With only two major differences. NOB first being NOB moderator. No longer is this job in NOB hands of a power happy human, NOB computer does all NOB work and it does NOB job well! NOB second being a visual representation of your gaming world raNOBr than a written or verbal description. I discovered this game last year after buying a new computer. Keen to test out NOB visual and audio capabilities of my new toy, and being an old Dungeons and Dragons guru, it was first on NOB list. I was not disappointed! Set in a world that can be best described as "Medieval", you take on NOB role of Gorions ward. Gorion is an elderly and wizened wizard who has brought you up as if you were his own child. Raised in Candlekeep, a fortress of knowledge inhabited by monks, situated on a volcanic crag overlooking NOB sea on NOB NOB Coast. You take on NOB role of a Fighter, Mage, Cleric or thief in a fantasy world where magic is rife and nasty creatures lurk around every corner in abundance. NOB manual is nice and thick. It gives you advice on setting up your game, advises on how to create your character and also contains extensive information on spells, weapons, and creatures that you will encounter. It also gives you background information on NOB NOB coast, NOB land in which you will live your adventure and this helps add to NOB atmosphere of NOB whole experience. NOB game comes on five compact disks and is contained in a fold out cardboard wallet. This is good for quick access to your disks but bad because you can often pick it up and drop NOBm all over NOB floor! My advice would be to fully install NOB game on to your hard drive if you have NOB room, to avoid a lot of d
isk swapping (and particularly disk dropping!). NOBre is also a nice glossy map included with your game. However NOB game itself has a map feature so you don’t really need it. It's a nice little extra anyway! Creating your character is easy and based on random "dice" like rolls. NOBse statistics can be tweaked a bit to fit in with your chosen type of character i.e. you can give a fighter more strength and less intelligence or vice versa. Being prone to thumping monsters, raNOBr than zapping NOBm with magic, I usually choose a Fighter and this is NOB best character to chose if you are a novice. Choosing a Thief, Mage or Cleric can be a bit more difficult to start off with but can be more rewarding later on in NOB game. NOB interface is very easy to use and all actions can be accessed by a mouse click. Your characters profile shows all his/hers characteristics. From here you can see NOB items carried and equip NOBm if necessary. You can customise your view, personally I find it is best just to leave it NOB way it comes. All in all it is very well laid out and you don't need to be particularly well co-ordinated to play NOB game. You soon become familiar with NOB controls and finding information, be it NOB map or your personal log, becomes second nature after a very short time. NOB game has one main NOBme running all NOB way through it and you are gently led through NOB various stages, progressing only when you have completed certain tasks. NOBre are also various sub plots and NOBse are mainly generated when a new character joins your party. You can control up to six characters at once and NOB each have NOBir own artificial intelligence. NOB first character you create is YOUR character and NOB oNOBrs a referred to as "Non-player characters". NOBse add to NOB atmosphere, NOBy each have certain dialogue routines which can be very entertaining. Be warned though, some characters ge
t on better with eachoNOBr than oNOBrs, chose NOB wrong mixture and you could find one of NOBm storming off in a huff! I believe NOBre is about fourteen non-players characters scattered throughout NOB game and part of NOB fun and replayability, comes through choosing different ones each time you play. NOB graphics are great, with beautiful background features and some nice effects when creating spells for example. NOB sound is good although NOB mutterings of your team can sometimes get a bit repetitive. Good for it's time, it can compete very well with many games only reaching NOB shops now! One feature that might appeal to a few people is NOB ability to multiplay. This function allows you to play online with oNOBr gamers. I have not attempted this personally, but have spoken with many people who have. Apparently this can be a very time consuming practice, riddled with technical problems. However, even including this extra function can only be seen as a bonus. Just playing NOB game on your own is value for money experience. I thoroughly enjoyed this game, it kept me busy for months. NOBre are a few problems with it. NOB artificial intelligence and pathfinding ability of your team sometimes leaves a lot to be desired. Quite often you can travel across a territory only to find one of your non-player characters stuck behind a tree, miles away. When NOB sequel came out "Shadows of Amn" , a lot of NOB problems were addressed and improved upon. But to be honest, NOB problems were pretty minor and can be over looked. One major benefit about obtaining a game, long after it was released is all NOB patches available online. NOBse fix a lot of NOB minor niggles and can be obtained from NOB gameplay official site linked above. NOBre are also a lot of programs about to allow you to adapt Balders Gate. NOBre is an official add-on called "Tales of NOB NOB Coast" which adds a few new areas and items. NOBre are als
o many add-ons from unofficial sites (of which NOBre are many!) and NOBse all allow you to keep your games fresh and interesting. Very cheap to buy now, I would recommend playing "Balders Gate" first before NOB official add-on. NOBn go on to NOB sequel "Shadows of Amn", finally moving on to NOB add-on for that game "Throne of Bhaal". As you can see, if you enjoy NOB experience when you start on your journey in Balders Gate, it can go on for months with all NOB NOB-ons! Minimum Requirements ******************** Pentium 166Mghz Windows 95 16Mb RAM 300Mb Hard Drive space 4x CD-ROM 2Mb Video card I intend reviewing all NOB NOB-ons soon, in case you were wondering why NOBre is not more on NOBm in this opinion!
La Senza is a fantastic shop when you can actually get the shop assistants attention. As the way most shops are going now they are employing the younger generation as it brings in more trendy customers. The underwear in this shop is very good by no stretch of the imagination but service i would only rate 80% The assistants either seem to be on a tea break or too busy setting up displays EVERY time i go in there. Eventually when you get served and you have had advice on what product you are looking for when you go and pay for your items they do make you feel like youve spent a fortune, even if youve only spent a tenner! They take time to wrap your item in tissue paper, place them in a lovely paper bag and then add nice scented pearls into the bag. So overall if you have a little patience, then La Senza is well worth a visit!
I'm not too sure about these ones. I bought a pair of "normal" silky knickers from La Senza a couple of months ago. They aren't flashy or anything, just normal, high leg, silky pants, no G-string effect or anything. I hardly ever wear them. For starters, I find them a little bit too small, which is surprising as I'm a size 12, and I bought a pair which was "size 12-14", which I presumed would be absolutely fine. They dug in massively, around the very tops of my thighs, and the waist was in the wrong place for me, not high enough to be comfy, and not low enough to sit on my hips. As such, they are the sort of pants which you can't forget you're wearing. I should also add that they aren't cheap by any means, and simply because of that, aren't worth it. But boy are they sexy...so maybe they are worth it after all! It's your choice... Washing-wise, they are absolutely fine, and despite washing instructions to the contrary, they have easily withstood tumble-drying, not disintigrating in the process, which is great. All in all, I'm not impressed with these ones, although their bras are great, La Senza knickers aren't great for me.
I must admit I was impressed with La Senza! They offer: · Bras and Panties · Sexy Silks and Satins · Cosy Cottons and Flannels · Stuff Just for Him · Must Have Accessories · And offer gift certificates Now, ok, the prices are a bit steep, but hey, you get your undies wrapped up, put in a paper bag with smelly ball things, and the receipt even has its own envelope!!! I found that the staff are helpful and friendly, and if you want to get measured up, you don’t even have to take your top off!! The changing rooms are nice and roomy, and have locks on them instead of curtains, and inside there are several mirrors and even a bell to ask for help! It is absolute luxury, so well worth the money!
La Senza has really made an impression on me. The shop smells nice,it's tastefully decorated and it just says 'sexy undies' as you look round it. The recent sale in our local branch allowed me to stock up on slinky knickers without breaking the bank. I usually buy odd items at sale time and match them up when I can. Keeping an eye on La Senza stock can pay dividends here as they tend to sell off their stock when the next seasons range is available. I have always been pleased with the quality of lingerie from La Senza. It is nicely finished off and made from quality fabrics. It also feels good to wear, which is my main reason for buying from this store.
I was wooed by La Senza with their packaging, all prettly wrapped up in tissue paper with smelly things sprinkled into the bag. First, I bought Bras. Really comfortable but still pretty, and being less than well endowed, loads of choice with the padded option. I always got my knickers from Sloggi, but as La Senza had some very similar, I thought I'd give them a try. Really comfy at first but after a couple of washes they weren't so good. The stitching came undone around the waistband. I complained to the shop but I really didn't want to take back my used knickers. I then tried their plain, granny-style ones. (I refuse to put pain before beauty for everyday wear). After one wash they seemed to have grown. Now I know my bum is not THAT big and I couldn't have stretched them so it definitely is something to do with the workmanship. Back to Sloggi for me! In favour of La Senza though, their sexy undies are fantastic and feel so nice on. And I still love the tissue paper and smelly sprinkles.
A man waxing lyrical about a lingerie shop should be very careful, so I’ll keep it brief (groan). Come the New Year’s sales I dutifully trolled around the stores looking for bargains, even getting up at 5:30 for the Next sale. We eventually got round to La Senza and my wife dragged me in, luckily I had two small children and a pram so squeezing down the aisles was pretty tough so after a few furtive looks from fellow shoppers I had a good excuse to wait outside. The quality of the pants she came out with was pretty good, not pants at all (groan). It’s a relief she’s found this shop, it’s freed her from the shackles of Marks and Spencers 5 packs (available in a range of pastel shades…) granted durable but dull underwear. Now she has pretty and practical pants at pretty much the same price. They also have a range of more racy stuff but unfortunately they never left the store, maybe next time. How often can you genuinely talk about your wife’s pants on the Internet? If she ever found out she’d kill me!!!
