Advantages: sexy, well fitting, great designs

Disadvantages: pricey, expensive matching knickers, hard to find

Ok, so not everyone's the same shape, but as far as I'm concerned these have to be the best fitting, sexiest bra's around! Lejaby have quite an extensive range of bras, and although it's not always easy to find a stockist, it's well worth the search.

Lejaby have 3 basic types of bra, all underwired; smooth t-shirt bra's - which I'm personally not too keen on as they look a little too odd for my liking on your bedroom floor - and then more ornate bra's in lighly padded and not padded. And although the bras with and without padding come in the same designs of pattern, the cut is not the same, which to my mind is a bit of a shame, as this alters the look of the non padded bras, but then maybe that's the point.

I personally buy the padded, patterned bras. Now I'm going to tell you a bit about the padding, as I think that this is one of the reasons why I only buy these bras (despite the fact that this is costing me a small fortune, but more of that later). Unlike other padded bras, I feel that this padding is much more descreet. They don't sell wonder-bra type bras, so you can't get ones with removable padding, but something abnout the way the bra's are cut gives you very good support and a brilliant cleavage.

A few years back Lejaby went through a bit of a rough patch in the materials and styles for these bras, but right now they have some really beautiful designs out. If you go to the sales at the time I am writing this article, you'll find a black and red design called Moulin Rouge - now I know that this sounds tacky, but check it out, and I don't think you'll be disappointed. Another design which is new for Autumn 2003 is a beautiful half cup brown patterned bra, which although not cheap at around 38 pounds, is really to die for.

Now the huge down side of this brand is the price. They are french, so maybe they are cheaper if you buy them abroad, I've not
found this myself, but you could give it a go. The bras usually run at around 30 to 40 pounds, and because of this I really would advise you to adhere to the washing instructions. I always wash mine by hand, and usually have about 4 and each bra lasts quite a few years - obviously depending on the material.

They also sell very pretty knickers to go with thier bras, in a thong/string, low slung and cut away cami style, and then the fuller knickers. These are however prohibitively expensive at around 25 pounds a pair...who can justify that for one pair of knickers?!...but again, they are lovely, and very comfortable (yes, i have sucumbed...)

Lejaby is stocked in branches of John Lewis, Selfridges, and every small independant lingerie shop that I've ever been in. They are also sold through loads of places online. Sizes range from 32 to 38 A to C.

I need to update my lingerie. Think I'll give some of these a go!
