I'm a massive fan of leopard print and was dying for a pair of leopard print leggings, after buying a cheaper pair and the material being way to thin I forked out for a pair of these! *What to wear them with* You can wear these with black heels and a nice plain top for a night out, or during the day I tend to wear these with a jersey top and a pair of flats and they look perfect with my topshop leather jacket! *Price* They retail for twenty pounds which sounds a bit much but there are several reasons why they are worth it: -The material is thick, meaning its warm and can be worn winter and summer, they keep your legs warm in the winter but aren't too hot in the summer heat. - The quality is amazing, other cheaper leggings don't tend to last me long because the stitching comes loose or the quality of the material isn't up to scratch but these are a really good quality legging! *Fitting* I bought it a size above my usual six, as the rise was quite low as I'm quite tall, on the six the leggings didn't cover up my bum enough and were too tight around the waist, the 8 is more comfy and sits on my hips nicely and the leggings reach my feet and aren't too short, I would recommend getting a size bigger in most cases, but leggings are defiantly something you need to try on first! *Overall* Leopard print is something risky as it can look tacky a lot, but these leggings certainly don't look tacky and are comfy and really good quality, twenty quid is a lot for leggings but because they last so long and are something you can wear day or night so they really are worth it, if you don't want to pay full price it is worth looking on eBay!
Want to stand out from the crowd? Well these printed leggings are a perfect match for you. Girls these pattern leggings are a must have, and you're paying an affordable price of £20.00 from Topshop pay less look more so grab before you regret it! I own a pair of the exact leggings when I saw them in the magazine my eyes were all over them. I'm happy I purchased the leggings they are fashionable to wear for all occasions from everyday to a night out. From all my leggings I have these are my favourite pair, they are so comfortable and I always get my friends and even people I don't even know of the streets saying they like them so its not only me who has love for the them!. To complete the outfit I wear them with a plain black top with a pair of black boots. When you're wearing pattern leggings try not to clash your outfit with too much pattern, as the leggings speak for itself and brings out the style in you!
I am currently doing a fashion degree, hoping to become either a fashion stylist or a fashion designer. Either way - I am very up to date with current trends but often I choose not to follow them. I love being individual and dressing in whatever I like rather than the same as everyone else. Topshop is one of my favourite brands (that I can actually afford) so it is where about 70% of my wages go. I saw these and couldn't help myself but run to the counter to buy them! The leggings are quite size appropriate so no need to go up or down a size like other stores. I am usually a size 6 but I had to go to a size 8 as I unfortunately binged a little on holiday and they were out Normally leopard print is linked to the 'chav subculture', but none the less it is still gorgeous and seems to be popping up all over the high street recently. These leggings have been on sale since the summer when I brought mine and can still be purchased now. They cost £20 and if you have a student card then you will be able to buy them for only £18 as you get 10% off. The leggings are quite size right, so you won't need to buy up/down a size like in some other stores. I am usually a size 6 but after a holiday binge I put on weight and had to buy an 8 (hence the previous review on weightwatchers). They are stretchy so will fit your waist and legs perfectly all the way down. I quite like that these are typical leopard print colouring because when it goes to colours such as pink and blue - it begins to look tacky! I find that because they are more golden brown tones its easy to match them with other items of clothing. I tend to wear mine with white, black, brown or sometimes bright colour but it really depends on your style. The leggings fit from your belly button (can be folded lower) and they fit to my ankles. I am only 5'3 so this could be part of the reason they are so long but I am sure due to the stretch they will fit taller people the same. After trying the leggings out with different outfits, I realised that they are perfect for evening or day wear. Black, tan or cream heels look gorgeous with the leggings and a cream blouse or any top of your choice. They also look good with boots and a baggy jumper during the day. They are definitely one of my staple pieces. I have obviously washed and worn my many times now and they haven't bobbled at all. They have a tiny rip at the bottom of one leg but this was because I snagged them on a bench over the summer. I love how soft they are and how they mould to the leg perfectly - they don't even go baggy on your knees which is a bonus! To wash the leggings put them on a 40 degree wash and then air dry. I would say to use the tumble dryer but this often shrinks my clothing and I currently don't own one so mine go on a clothes horse. Patterned leggings are becoming easier to find now and there are so many styles available. If you're in love with your plain coloured leggings then you definitely need to give these a go. Available in sizes 6-16.
I have to admit, I am not the most 'normal' when it comes to fashion. I like to stand out with my own quirky styles. Despite it being quite chavvy, I adore leopard print, so when I saw these in Topshop - I couldn't resist. Costing £20 (from Topshop as I mentioned above) they are quite expensive for a pair of leggings, but providing you wash them the correct way and don't wear them to the local playground, they will last a long time. I have had mine for a couple of months now and they are good as new. Obviously you would not wear these as much as you wear plain black leggings. I love the fact that these are typical leopard print, not a funky colour. I don't really like all of the pink, blue, green leopard prints. As these are brown, cream and black it is easier to find clothes to match with them. I tend to match them with a black or white top but recently there are more brown coloured tops which go with the leggings. You could also wear them with a skirt/shorts or a long top - its really up to you to add your individual style. As I do a fashion course, I do wear them into college but I feel they are suited more towards a day shopping or a night out. If you feel brave enough then you could wear them to the supermarket (although I only wear my tracksuit bottoms there). Usually, I don't like patterned leggings as I find them to be a bit cheap looking or strange, but these are perfect. They are really good quality and thick so they are perfect in winter (obviously jeans would be more favoured). I love the fact they didn't bobble easily! My main issue with leggings is that they can also become baggy after a couple of wears or they stretch so you can see your underwear through - most unattractive thing ever. I have to say, these have not stretched or gone baggy yet and still look good as new! I am not sure whether Topshop still sells these, you might be able to find them in the store or online sale. They are available in size 6-16. I found that they are quite size appropriate so as a size 8, I didn't need to buy a size 6 or 10 like in some brands like River Island. I did have to try them on though as the waist looked a little big for me, but a size 6 made the pattern too stretched which did not look good - they just made me look bigger than I really am. The leggings go from your waist (above belly button) and fit down to your ankles, so they cannot be tucked under your heel. They are elasticated and it seems to be quite good elastic so it won't stretch or break easily, I tend to roll mine down to my hips as it feels more comfortable to me but its up to you. To wash your leggings they need to go on a 40degree wash maximum, they are allowed in the tumble dryer but I don't use mine as I find it makes clothes out of shape. If I was to have the option to buy these again, I probably would. They are comfortable, warm in cooler weather and don't go out of shape. I love how they let me be a little creative and have my own style - following the crowd gets boring!
I bought these at the beginning of June after one of my friends bought a pair of pineapple leggings (look better then they sound!), and then another friend bought some zebra leggings and countless others bought patterned and textured leggings - it's clear that printed leggings are in season! They are from Topshop and are £20 which is expensive but all Topshop items in my experience have been good quality and lasted well. The colour of these are in a very realistic leapord print colour - alot of other leapord print leggings seem to be an ugly neon orange or yellow, where as these are much more subtle and are more of a browny cream with very realistic leapord spots on them which are black and brown. I love the design of them as they are really unusual looking but not to the extent where people stop and stare! These aren't the most versatile pair of leggings because they are suited more to nights out or casual days rather than for university etc, but matching them with an outfit isn't hard. I usually wear mine either on there own with a long vest/jumper, or underneath hotpants, it really brightens and outfit up and adds chracter. Because they're footless they look good with heels. The pattern is really bold. Sometimes with patterned leggings when they are on the pattern stretches and goes a little sheer but these don't, they display the pattern and colour really well. The leggings are ankle length and footless and fit really well. I have had no issues with them been too baggy around my knees or ankles like I do with some leggings. They are easy to put on and are comfortable. The waistband is elasticated but not over elasticated like some leggings seem to be. The leggings are soft and comfy, they're 96% polyester and 4% elastane. I've had mine for a month or so now and washed them in the washing machine 2/3 times. The colour has not faded, they haven't bobbled and the material is still nice and smooth/soft. The leggings are available in sizes 6 to 16. I got a size 8 which is my actual size, and they're very true to size and fit well so I would get your actual size rather than a size bigger/smaller. I would definetly advise against getting a size smaller as because of the pattern it's important not to stretch them out. Like all leggings, they are skin tight and show off lumps and bumps so I would definetly advise not to buy these if you are body concious, as they also draw attention to the legs, although they are admittedly quite flattering as I suppose they are quite distracting. Overall a nice pair of leggings which look and feel good.
I recently got these in a swap shop with my best friend, she brought them from Topshop, but she didn't really like them, and as I am a huge leopard print fan, I just had to have them! Although I was abit worried about wearing skin tight leggings as I have big legs, and was worried I would look stupid, but I had to at least try them! The leggings are made from 96% polyester and 4% elastane, which is mainly on the waistband, but there are parts of the legs that also have elastane in, which enables the legs to be stretched according to your legs, but they aren't as starchy as other leggings, so defiantly try before you buy a size. There is stitching around the ankles and the waistband, which is a black colour. There is one seam on the inside of the leg, which isn't that obvious when they are worn and the seam is more invisible compared to other leggings, and it looks very professional. The leggings are ankle ones, which I perfer as knee length leggings are really unflattering for me. The colour of the leggings is slightly more darker then other leopard print clothes, with the actual print, being much darker then other prints, but it works very well together. The print is quite large, which makes it obvious that it is leopard print, with smaller prints being subtle, so it might not be to everyone's tastes, as lot of women won't wear leopard print patterns. The slightly darker colour is much easier to wear, as it looks really nice with both black and white, but all leopard print is difficult to wear, so I just stick to wearing it under long black tops, and I confess I do wear these as trousers, which is seen as a massive fashion crime, but they are so easy to wear as trousers! Wearing the leggings were really comfy, just so easy to wear everyday and even lounge in the house with, but the leggings are easier to wear for a night out too, as they add a stylish slant on an outfit. The leggings are very skin tight, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone how is self conscious about their legs, but they do suit most figures, and even though I have big legs, they do look good, and don't make them look any bigger, thankfully! The only problem I had was begin 5ft, the leggings were a little long for me and they didn't have any in the petite section, so if you're petite they might not be for you. I would highly recommend the Topshop leopard print leggings are they are really stylish, and suitable for both day and night wear, but also they are really comfy to wear everyday! The leggings are also long lasting, great value for money, which is great compared to cheaper leggings which break really quickly in the wash. If you love leopard print you will love these! Topshop Leopard Print leggings are available in Topshop stores and online (www.topshop.com) and costs £20. The leggings come in sizes 6-16.
