Advantages: Fab shape, Great hold, Nice Price
Disadvantages: Bit scary!
Forgive me for being a bit blunt - but if you have big breasts it's really important that you find a decent strapless bra should you wear something that requires the style. Unless you are unbelievably firm, or endowed with implants you are going to swing about like Charlie sodding Dimmock otherwise. It may get you attention - but it's not comfortable, flattering or even that sexy. So, with this in mind I went out on a quest to find a decent strapless bra to wear under a stunning dress I'd bought for my boyfriends graduation. I'm not bashful - I'm a 36D and need good support. I've tried Triumph and various department store brands and found nothing useful. I went to that last refuge for bra buyers everywhere (find me a British woman who doesn't own a Marks & Sparks bra and I'll find you a) a liar, b) a very rich cow or c) an A-cup)- Marks. I found what I wanted. I can't remember the brand name exactly - sorry - but you can't miss them. They come in all sizes and various colours (white, beige and black at least). They have detachable straps and can therefore be worn normally, strapless or halter neck (I wouldn't advise the latter if you do have an ample bosom - it makes your neck sore!). The thing itself is a mean looking piece of kit - with 4 clasps on the back. I'm ashamed to say that it's really quite difficult to do up and I had to ask my boyfriend for help. They are also quite tricky to get out of, particularly when drunk! The bra does resemble some sort of ancient torture equipment or chastity style underwear - but it will hold your breasts beautifully - however big they are and however much you dance about the place. Once it's on, it doesn't look so awful and the black ones actually look quite sexy. The shape they give is fab and it stops your breasts from doing a Houdinin out of your sexy little top! Marks' bras are all great quality. Many of the larger sizes a
re deeply unattractive. This bra really is the best of both worlds and as sexy as you could make it without ruining its function. I would say that it wouldn't do for a first date though - it'd only serve to make the embarrasing fumbling even more difficult for the poor bloke!

- 03/05/03 Most places do strapless bras up to D cups, but do they go up to a 36G? I've never found a strapless one that does but if anyone knows I'd be intrested! |
